I'm rewatching some of the more recent seasons of South Park, and it's kinda insane that Kyle blew up Canada, and everyone forgot about that almost immediately. You'd think there would be some kind of arc with his Canadian brother Ike, but nope.

Seeing how Trump handled the Epstein files genuinely radicalized me. He ran on releasing them, downplayed their importance after winning, and then outright called them a democratic hoax. This man blatantly protected child rapists, and is more than likely one himself, and people still support him.

I like Spyro's Reignited design, but I have my issues with it. I mainly just don't think he looks as young and cute in that game compared to the originals, but using that design as a base for a slightly aged-up Spyro works super well, so I actually really love his Realm Beyond design. It's perfect.

I was always gonna prefer Ship of Harkinian with that 3DS Experience mod, so I'm not upset or anything, but I did not like how the Ocarina of Time remake looked. Everyone looks like a porcelain doll. It's so uncanny and weird.

I watched the new Simpsons special Yellow Mirror. I really loved the first segment The Way We Wasn't. It's a very self indulgent plot, but it's such a fun and interesting idea. Definitely a highlight of modern Simpsons for me. The second segment was fine. It didn't do much for me unfortunately.

Demon Tides is the hardest Switch 1 port we've worked on! But we're quite proud of how it turned out! Stable 30fps throughout, retained the seamless open world, almost no loading screens, 720/1080 resolution with rare downscaling, feature parity, and it still looks decent! How it looks:

I am really loving the PC port of Spyro 1, but the extended draw distance option looks a lot worse than I expected. You can see the cut-off for when they stopped texturing the water in Stone Hill, and the mountains no longer blend into the background in Town Square. Not the port's fault, obviously.

I've finally been playing another Ocarina of Time randomizer now that the 3DS mod for Ship of Harkinian got that major update, and it's been so fun. That mod is extremely well done, really just needs a bit more polish for now until SoH's mod capabilities improve further.

I think it's so funny that Temu's new slogan is "Shop like a billionaire". It's clearly a response to Temu being synonymous with cheap crap. Like, their approach to fixing that association is to gaslight rather than having any level of quality control.
