Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 11/07/2026This is the hawk I saw today. The second pic is blurry because it flew away, but the blur it left behind looks really interesting, like it is a cartoon bird or something. 110
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 24/04/2026Evolution of my print. Printing TPU 85a is way harder than I expected. 160

Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 15/02/2026There is a FB group I joined like this bc its name is “call for co-authorship” and I thought it was a group for finding possible collaborations. It is not. It is probably all scams, but some people on there are trying. 010
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 02/02/2026Saw this today and nicely explains it why we need to keep speaking up. 152

Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 07/01/2026I hope their antibodies are better than their legos. The design is very flimsy, but I enjoyed the challenge. 0250
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 22/11/2025Update, I grabbed 10 colonies and combined into one @plasmidsaurus.bsky.social reaction. All of them were too small and most were the same, the TE inserted in the same place. So screening colonies won't likely work. 000
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Has anyone had this show up in their plasmid, and how to prevent it? "E. Coli IS10L Transposon" 442
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 06/11/2025I tried to "squeeze gel purify" DNA, sent it for sequencing, and it worked! ~Protocol: 1) cut out band 2) poke hold in small tube, put gel in it, put in big tube 3) Spin for 2-3 seconds 4) sequence the liquid in the bottom tube This may not always work, but cool! @plasmidsaurus.bsky.social 060

Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 30/08/2025How cool is it to get messages like that?! Wow! So much of the joy of science is the mentorship I get to give, its the mentees! 050
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 29/08/2025I see, the new model had a diffuser sheet and states the diameter in the instruction manual. 010

Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 30/05/2025If you hold down on the picture with your iPhone you can save it as a sticker. 000
Phil Kyriakakis @breakliquid.bsky.social · 19/05/2025I did something very similar lest month, but w gentamycin and CAM. Way easier/cheaper than PCR screening. Too bad I couldn’t do that for any other edits. 020
