As a kid I listened to my mother's side of the family disparage my dad's side, and my dad's side of the family disparage my mother's side, but as a healing adult I can now clearly see that damn near ALL of them are greedy, abusive, self-centered assholes with little-to-no self awareness to speak of.

We're all traumatized to some degree and our trauma is being exploited by the assholes in power. Haven't watched the movie in years but, from what I can recall, what's happening to the working class is very similar to Monsters, Inc. The rich are profiting off of our trauma and our terror.
