Parent wounds are a helluva drug. We don't hear about this in mainstream media because toxic relationships are big money makers and they often produce babies [from broken homes.. even if the parents stay together; sometimes ESPECIALLY if they stay together].

But abusive family members still blame me for not coming around anymore. It's only a choice in that I've finally accepted that feeling safe around my family isn't an option anymore, bc they ALL protect and enable abusers. Some of them even protect pedophiles. I am not the problem.

I no longer feel safe trying to keep a "private" journal bc too many intrusive, entitled assholes have plundered my privacy in the past, so now I post everything publicly & apparently people get BIG mad. It's my life though, and I can do what I want; my past abusers don't get a say in the matter.

Speaking of unethical: Warpaint Journal chronically rips off other people's work and posts it without credit. I did a search on several lines of text and still have no clue who originally penned this or who to properly credit, but I sincerely fuckin doubt it was Warpaint [Plagiarizing] Journal.

Probably true for healthy-minded individuals, but severely traumatized people tend to view people who are *too* different from what they consider "normal" as bad/wrong/suspicious/evil. Case in point: christians. Authenticity doesn't make most xtians feel safe; it makes them clutch their pearls.
