Good news! We recently met with Cascades Vlcano Observatory & found out that the recent seismic activity at Mount Adams has gone down and new permanent seismic monitors will be going in to increase monitoring! 🎉From September 2024 to January 2025, there were roughly 12 small earthquakes.

Simply put, it doesn’t undo the damage he’s done. People don’t remember when VPDs were rampant, and so I think it’s easier for them to incorrectly believe that they’re unnecessary. But that’s not an excuse for people in positions to amplify dangerous, anti-science rhetoric.
