🔬 New Preprint on bioRxiv! 📄 "Medin drives Aβ40 to adopt Aβ42‑like fibril polymorphs in vitro" 🧠 Alzheimer’s | 🧩 Amyloids | 🧬 Cryo-EM I'm thrilled to share our latest Cryo-EM work, which shows how medin, a vascular amyloid, reshapes Aβ40 fibrils to mimic the more toxic Aβ42 polymorphs.
