So the Republican Party, Elon and Trump have completely cut funding via the DOE to train and certify teachers in rural areas through out the US. Sounds like a great plan to keep the US full of ignorant people.

The Department of Education has the smallest staff of any cabinet agency. 91% of its budget goes to Pell Grants, Student Loans, underresourced elementary and secondary schools, and special education. I'm sure the states will manage that well.
