Thank you @georgemonbiot.bsky.social, but I am lacking the ability to understand how this could help to solve the acute suffering of the Palestinians and how to stop the genocide currently ongoing by the Israeli government and it’s allies.

The world has warmed by around 1.4C since 1850. It took 148 years for the first half of that warming to occur, and just 27 years for the second half!

Is it possible to give the first 5 years, as in 1982 to 1986, one specific colour and the last 5 years, as in 2021 to 2025, another specific colour? (Current running year to remain red)

Your 'moment of doom' for Nov. 18, 2024 ~ Faster than expected. "If this additional meltwater is included in climate projections, the overturning circulation will weaken faster. It could be 30% weaker by 2040. That’s 20 years earlier than initially projected." theconversation.com/meltwater-fr...

Meltwater from Greenland and the Arctic is weakening ocean circulation, speeding up warming down south
New research shows melting ice is causing the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) to slow down, with widespread consequences for the world’s climate and ecosystems.

No one who actually understands what the greenhouse gas forcing is questioned this graph of the GHG forcing of past 130,000 years. It looks unbelievable, but we'd better believe it. As this is the scale of humanity's impact on the global climate. We haven't seen anything yet
