I do find it quite pathetic that Schumer and Jeffries have gone into hiding when the future of the country is at stake but strategically it might be for the best that voters aren’t reminded they exist.

Republicans who have been around for a long time clearly have no idea how to run for election, and perhaps we should be asking how that has happened

Welcome to #TeamCourage, Eunice Lehmacher! 💙 Eunice is running for the U.S. House in South Carolina’s 3rd District, and she’s a YES on impeachment. That’s what accountability looks like. #SC03 #VoteForCourage @euniceforsc.bsky.social
Smiling older woman portrait with campaign-style text declaring she is a "YES on impeachment," welcoming her to #TeamCourage, and noting "House, SC-03" alongside a Courage for Democracy logo.

I share your worry. Particularly because the problems will take ages to fix and the press is going to HOUND the Democrats about why it’s taking so long. The other possibility that I predicted years ago was a new party emerging on the LEFT, and the D party becoming the conservative party.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, who is campaigning in Michigan this week for Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, transferred $1 million on Friday to a political account to help elect the fellow progressive to the Senate. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/16/u...

Ocasio-Cortez Transfers $1 Million to Help El-Sayed in Michigan Senate Race
The transfer represents an unusually large amount for a House member to give to a Senate race.

This was always the prediction: that eventually 🤡 would ruin their lives to the point they flip. But it probably underestimates how much his base loves being racist.

I wish I knew what they were thinking. Were they pressured by Dems because it was getting uncomfortable? Are they making money now? Do they really believe this could possibly be the right approach?

If they reoriented their coverage away from red vs. blue nonsense and toward freedom vs. tyranny they’d probably have 🤡 out of there in 60 days. The cowardice over there is breathtaking.

Wow, what a fascinating window into the #orangejournalism at the NYT. Great job, @markjacob.bsky.social ! I don’t know what all their motivations are for protecting 🤡 but clearly at least one of them is trying to pretend they’re neutral by pulling their punches.

As always, I think the best way to interpret his mouth diarrhea is as a reflection of his most recent conversation with someone. You can almost hear Kash Patel saying “You could have gone after them in your first term and you still could. Just say the word, boss.”

No Kings. No Demands. What Happened?
Behind the scenes, the organization leading America’s largest anti-Trump protests has declined to endorse impeachment—and pressured local organizers who demand it.

I look at it like buying fruit. I know going in there’s huge potential for it ending up right in the trash but the smarter you are on the buying side the less disappointed you’ll be. And, yes, this cycle has propelled some new energy into the forefront. Hopefully AOC won’t feel so lonely next year.

I have literally never not been disappointed by someone I've voted for. If you want someone to always vote the way you would vote, you have to run for office yourself.
