julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 02/10/2026looks like tomestone has a dawntrail recap. it would be a lot more accurate if more of my stuff was logged lol 000

julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 02/10/2026fun little nostalgia revisit. played this game a ton as a kid. this version kinda looks ugly, though, and it was a lot buggier than i remember the original one being. 000
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 01/10/2026my biggest takeaway from this movie is that emma stone is still hot when she's bald 010
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 30/09/2026for a sec i thought that was a sauce cup of nacho cheese 010
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 30/09/2026learning about toronto slang. what the hell is going on over there. 011
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 29/09/2026watched bugonia, great movie. jesse plemons was insane in this. emma stone was great as always, too. gonna have to think on it for a little while. 130
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 25/09/2026this is such an odd parking rule. seems obnoxious. does it mean i have to move my car everyday even if i don't drive?? 000
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 21/09/2026listening to live music and eating fresh fish right on the lake it’s from. this is what life’s all about. 010
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 21/09/2026kinda mean, but it's not surprising that the p4 actors who went on to become extremely popular were the ones who had great performances while the rest kinda faded into obscurity. also, i can see the keeping of jyb as adachi (and tara platt as elizabeth for p3r) working cuz they're side characters. 000
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 21/09/2026maybe a hot take, but ngl idc that the p4 voice cast got replaced cuz having just played p4g most of the voice actors are Not Good. and it'd be way too awkward and problematic to go half-and-half with the party members on who remains and who goes. 100
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 20/09/2026what are they cooking with the p4r battle mechanics. get them out of the kitchen PLEASE. 011
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 19/09/2026gonna try to hit all the stops i highlighted green. the goal is to finish this before 5pm with time to spare. 010

julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 11/09/2026beastmaster has been really fun. pretty meaty content addition. finished the second master board and just need to level my guys, and then practicing scoring with the third degree modifiers is gonna be a huge undertaking. 011
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 07/09/2026love that nathan fielder keeps doing these insane projects. this guy is just living the dream. 000

julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 29/08/2026next stop: detroit! i’ll be spending the rest of the day there when i arrive and then tomorrow i’ll go to the actual destination where i’ll be staying for a little while. 020
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 27/08/2026in a slop superhero movie mood so i finally watched batman v superman. every scene with jesse eisenberg lex luthor was agonizing. what was this casting. 000
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 24/08/2026lanterns is pretty good. really cool dynamic between the two leads, one that's influenced by this militaristic respect but strained by opposite values and this impatience/unwillingness to let go. the actors' chemistry is pretty great, too. looking forward to seeing where the relationship leads. 000

julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 16/08/2026was about 11 hours of driving followed by a 4.5 hour raid night. i’m pretty tired. i’ll be in the chicago area for the next two weeks!! 130
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 14/08/2026did callouts for 48-man ftmex all night, 5 runs. nerves got me good the first run and i messed up a bit, but after easing into it i did really well for the rest!! 000
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 13/08/2026watched the drama. i liked it!! parts of it felt pretty odd, but the conversation about the hypothetical about 2/3 made all the ideas click together for me. there's a lot of neat nuance to zendaya's character and the framing of her flashbacks. 020
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 11/08/2026got ner lar dor and rroneek bichir today, HUGE day for ff14 fishing 110
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 10/08/2026listen, i love y'all, but i'm happy i can finally turn off some of y'all's reposts cuz it's a little much for me lol 111
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 07/08/2026i like that p4 has a second arcana meta progression with judgement to at least fix that a little bit lol 100
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 05/08/2026cool fights, but as a whole raid i liked ftb and previous field ops raids more tbh 110
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 01/08/2026the rankings will definitely change, but second highest in damage in the final forked tower boss out of all jobs is pretty crazy. nice to see a couple people i've been running with at the top, too. 000
julien @ iowa @boolien.bsky.social · 29/07/2026unfortunately i think this is another classic case of the square enix overcorrection, where they toned things down drastically following the backlash to forked tower blood not being casual-friendly. at least there's a harder difficulty version, though. i'll report back on that when i clear it. 000
