I want to thank whoever made this image. Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

watched bugonia, great movie. jesse plemons was insane in this. emma stone was great as always, too. gonna have to think on it for a little while.

maybe a hot take, but ngl idc that the p4 voice cast got replaced cuz having just played p4g most of the voice actors are Not Good. and it'd be way too awkward and problematic to go half-and-half with the party members on who remains and who goes.

what are they cooking with the p4r battle mechanics. get them out of the kitchen PLEASE.

beastmaster has been really fun. pretty meaty content addition. finished the second master board and just need to level my guys, and then practicing scoring with the third degree modifiers is gonna be a huge undertaking.

in a slop superhero movie mood so i finally watched batman v superman. every scene with jesse eisenberg lex luthor was agonizing. what was this casting.

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

lanterns is pretty good. really cool dynamic between the two leads, one that's influenced by this militaristic respect but strained by opposite values and this impatience/unwillingness to let go. the actors' chemistry is pretty great, too. looking forward to seeing where the relationship leads.

did callouts for 48-man ftmex all night, 5 runs. nerves got me good the first run and i messed up a bit, but after easing into it i did really well for the rest!!

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

watched the drama. i liked it!! parts of it felt pretty odd, but the conversation about the hypothetical about 2/3 made all the ideas click together for me. there's a lot of neat nuance to zendaya's character and the framing of her flashbacks.

got ner lar dor and rroneek bichir today, HUGE day for ff14 fishing

cool fights, but as a whole raid i liked ftb and previous field ops raids more tbh

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

the rankings will definitely change, but second highest in damage in the final forked tower boss out of all jobs is pretty crazy. nice to see a couple people i've been running with at the top, too.

000

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

cleared forked tower magic normal as a duo and it was pretty disappointing, tbh. idk how the extreme looks but this felt like it was way, way too sanded down from that. very little personality until the last boss.

excited to clip farm in forked tower again

seeing 60 fps xenoblade 2 footage is still messing me up

010

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

i’d be cool with the ff7 raid series if it just featured bosses and general thematic parallels with an original story, like most other ff14 things. but since they talked about characters to feature… i’m expecting a boring retread of ff7 where we just help cloud. i really hope the fights are good.

020

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

even before that mount announcement i was even more convinced by this fanfest that evercold is basically the ff13 expansion lol

been playing hell maiden. wanted to see how much i could fill the screen.

glasya-labolas is my favorite demon design new to smtv. i hope it makes it to all future megaten games. really cool in its few moments in vengeance.

040

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

did smtvv masakado on hard on my first run and it was brutal. needed a dedicated tank demon and despite these stats, full buffs, and blocking it was barely surviving 3 freikugels with 20-30 hp. not having access to drain/repel fire made it sketchy, too. crazy superboss, its damage output is insane.

000

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

really been trying to wrap up all my in-progress games lately so i can have a blank slate for some big changes coming soon

010

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

had to get a new work laptop recently and this one's got a touchscreen, which so far has been more of a hindrance than a boon. i keep accidentally closing windows when i reach to close it. i'll see if my org's it can turn it off for me cuz i don't have the permissions to mess with it.

000

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

forgot to mention but i finished angeline era the other day. great game. maybe someday i'll go back and check out the challenge modes, but i've got too many other things i want to check off first.

took me about 2 hours to get warmech to spawn in ff1, so now i can finally go to bed

julien @ wisconsin @boolien.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

deltarune ch5 was neat. thought some parts dragged a bit but it pulled through in the end. the superboss was pretty fun, i managed to second try it and had to use all my items lol
