Rotsler also wrote the Iron Man novel, which was my favorite. He was a BNF (Big Name Fan) in sci-fi fandom and also an editor or something of the adult mag, ADAM.

Just watched his first movie the other day, a violent sexploitation film entitled DELINQUENT SCHOOLGIRLS in which he plays one of 3 escaped mental patients who take over a girls' school.

Back in the day, I went on a pop culture radio show and declared it was the best book Marvel had at that time. Some 4 decades later, I was able to interview several of the creators and write a feature article on MoKF for BACK ISSUE!

A new "Batman" newspaper strip first appeared 60 years ago, on May 29, 1966. The strip was an attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the character in the wake of the hit TV program, but it ran into 1973, much longer than the TV version. Here’s the debut (a Sunday):

Actually it makes sense. This 2nd movie came "after" THE THIN MAN. Next one works, too as he's looking for "another" thin man. After that, the not-so-thin Powell "becomes" the thin man.

Back in the early '70s, the Dialing for Dollars Movie called me with a question about this film, which I had PLANNED to watch that day but had forgotten so I didn't know the answer and lost $200!!!! Seen it since. It's okay.

I was 22 and in the hospital with a painful kidney stone the night this aired, trapped in a ward with 5 older men, moaning in pain even louder and more often than I was. The TV set was permanently set on NBC apparently and we were forced to endure this...this...travesty!

Bomba was big on TV at that time, the '50s movies edited into half hour episodes in syndication, often shown in early morning slots. I used to watch Bomba every day before I had to go to school. I can see where it would've looked like a topical idea.

Trying to overturn a fair election in an attempted coup against his own government is the very definition of TREASON. We can never move forward until this is fully adjudicated. #ShameOnUS🇺🇸
