Only one of these cats talks to people much, usually to complain about living conditions (when second breakfast is late). Tonight she came by and got ready to jump up. I asked if it was time to pet her again, and she confirmed it. (Petting is done. Washing now.)

Linocut artwork carefully printed the directly onto wooden bunting. There are nine different prints across nine bits of plywood measuring approximately 15cm x 13cm each. The three in the picture depict two skeleton lovers, a witch hare and mask of sticks.

The opposition to our ballot measure (Yes on Prop B in San Francisco!) are spreading erroneous interpretations of the law I wrote. In fact: 1. AB 857 allows public banks to provide retail products like checking accounts in partnership with credit unions, CDFIs, and community banks.
NO ACCOUNT FOR YOU
By state law, you cannot open a checking account. This is not a bank for residents.

NO DIRECT SMALL-BUSINESS LOAN
It cannot lend to your shop or restaurant. It buys slices of other lenders’ loans.

CITY CASH LOCKED OUT FOR YEARS
The Treasurer’s pool can’t capitalize it for at least five years — then only with 110% collateral.

ZERO HOMES THIS DECADE
A bank that can’t touch city deposits and can’t lend directly builds no housing now.
