In the KOReader settings in Readest, you'll need to check "Send document metadata" for it to send the title and author of the book. This is for privacy reasons since the default KOSync server is public with open registration

BookHive now syncs with your e-reader. Upload your ebooks, browse them from KOReader, Crosspoint, or Readest, via OPDS, and your reading progress syncs back into BookHive.
Personal Library

Your private ebook shelf. Upload your files here and BookHive serves them to your e-reader as an OPDS catalog -- browse and download them straight from KOReader, and your reading progress syncs back to your BookHive books automatically. Files stay private to you; nothing is published to your PDS.Personal Library with 3 books added, 1 with 12% progress, another that is available to download, and another that is 9% progress

We have a new feature that we are testing out, an XRPC API for getting the identifiers that we know of for a book. This should make it easier to find books in the hive or resolve isbn, isbn13, goodreads ids to hive ids. This is another step towards making the bookhive dataset even more open
A screenshot of curl commands showing the route:

Two new features: Now, you can track progress on books you are currently reading. I'm using a similar shape to @popfeed.social's book progress tracking, which should make it easier to inter-op in the future. We've also implemented proper OAuth scopes, which means minimal permissions to your data!
A reading progress card, which shows pages read vs. total pages, chapters read vs. total chapters, and percentage complete which is auto-calculatedThe OAuth scopes required for bookhive.buzz to function properly

Now, when viewing your own profile page, you'll see a dense table view of all of your books in your hive. This should allow for easier management of book statuses, after a large import!

Thanks to @tijs.org, we now won't log you out every 15 minutes. And, more importantly, we now have a "recent buzzes from friends", keep up with any book updates from people you follow on bluesky!
BookHive now supports "Recent buzzes from friends", which allows a user to see the books that any of the people which they follow have posted on bookhive.
