Before (2023) / After (2026) Place Félix Eboué in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The works were completed in early 2026. Here you can see the newly planted trees were a little older and taller than those usually planted in Paris streets, it helps creating a new green plaza a little faster.

La Rue Lebon dans le 17ème n'est pas piétonnisée complètement par des barrières, il y a le passage libre pour les livraisons, mais pour empêcher le stationnement gênant il y a profusion de plantes en pot sur les côtés pas simples à déplacer.

Frustrated by inaction on the threat of cars on their street, the 1970s residents of Delft's Tuinstraat illicitly erected barriers to curb traffic. This act of rebellion became a global revolution—inventing the woonerf (“living street”): a common space for recreation, vegetation, and socialization.

Before (2025) / After (2026) the school street Rue Fernand Labori in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. All the car parking was removed, trees were planted instead, and barriers were installed on both ends of the street.

Before (2025) / After (2026) the brand new school street Rue Fernand Labori in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. The school is on the right outside the frame. Before, the exit of the school was protected by the barrier in the foreground. Now it is protected by the removal of the transit traffic.
