As somebody who rel. recently discovered that it was TRPC6 mutation that lead to my agressive kidney failure as a 13 year old back in 1997, it uplifts me ENORMOUSLY to know there is now real hope for adults but especially kids afflicted by this cruel issue! I really hope this goes all the way!

V. Exciting to see, perhaps, that there is a brighter future for those "afflicted" with TRPC6 mutations. 🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞 When I lost my kidneys in '97 as a 13 year old to "FSGS" nobody knew the underlying cause, let alone how to stop it.

Sans ma greffe de rein a 14 ans, je n'aurai jamais pu finir l'école et les études à la fac ou bien encore les années de plaisir sur mes skis. La greffe assure un retour beaucoup plus proche à la normale, la croissance, la liberté de se déplacer et bien plus. Ça change tout. Merci aux donneurs.

Every year in Nov/Dec when I start eating Clementines my tacrolimus (Prograf) trough levels "happen" to increase substantially (double..) if I've eaten a couple the day before the test. I'm convinced of #CYP3A4 link but I'm always told not.. any thoughts ?! www.vidal.fr/actualites/2... #nephsky
