There have been articles, radio & TV programmes, etc., etc. since around 2012 regarding the unusually high sums City were getting for their sponsorship deals, ESPECIALLY when pretty much ALL their sponsors were companies owned by the Abu Dhabi state. EVERYONE FUCKING KNEW A LONG TIME AGO!!!

How naive you are. I'm done discussing this subject with someone who can't see that pretty much everyone and everything to do with City is tainted. Read the PL 40 page synopsis. It is BEYOND damning. It uses the strongest possible legal language to say City are crooks.

They may not be accountants, but if any payments are "off the books", they'll need to know in order to access the funds! Furthermore, there were so many articles prior to the PL investigation, it would be impossible for a player to be 100% ignorant of the possibilities of wrongdoing.

I doubt it. As far back as 2012 several high profile sports and financial journalists were questioning the sponsorship deals given a) they were well above those of clubs like Arsenal, Utd & L'pool, and b) the sponsors were Abu Dhabi companies. We know at least 3 players were paid off the books.

Well if ONE player got paid off the books, I doubt he was the only one! At a time the very top players were getting £200k+ a week at other clubs, City were paying average players that much and their very top players £300k+ a week (maybe more with off-book payments) Haaland currently £500k/week

If a player knowingly received two payments, one officially from City and another from outside City Group to top up a lower than normal wage, then they are complicit. They would know about the implications of FFP and how being paid in this way is skews the books. I fear you are clutching at straws.
