I had only one frame in this lovely project, so I decided to make it larger than life - or at least as large as the blue whale in the background. 🐋 So here are Ed and Merstede, wearing a shirt but with his tail sticking up behind him. And I gave him crystal tears! #ofmd #ofmdfanart #LaVieEnFrames

Stede is in mid motion slinging Ed around, grabbing his arms. They are under water, Stede is wearing his bluegreen shirt but he is actually Merstede in disguise, his tail sticking up behind him. The colours around them are in delicate lavender, cerulean, pink and purple tones, dappled sunlight is shining down on the huge blue whale swimming behind them. There are lots of bubbles, Ed's bubbles are pink hearts, and Merstede is tearing up with crystal tears.

I made a dickfuck pic! Unfortunately it's not Tuesday anymore, but I hope I'm not too late - after all, the original dickfuck was exactly that - getting the wrong date! 😊 I can try to make an Izzy too if it's not too late... #OFMD #OFMDfanart #OFMDart #DickfuckDay

Our RBB fic has now started posting! Author is @toadpuppy.bsky.social , and art is by me. The second chapter will be posted tonight. archiveofourown.org/works/896026...

A title card saying "Love Like Lightning" in a whimsy purple font, and below it says "Text by Toadpuppy, Art by Bobla Blubb" in a smaller purple font. Background is dark blue sky, lightning bolts flaring on each side of the text, and a whispy white cloud of stars and hearts is below. Above the text is a heart-shaped constellation.

Wow! Sounds like a really good glue for crafts then. :) We have a similar glue in my country too, also very sticky. 😊

We don't usually see each other's headers. Quote post with yours <3 My header is Blackbeard and his 🍑 from my drawing for the Renew as a Crew project. All the details are described in the ALT text. #ofmd #ofmdfanart

My drawing for the Renew as a Crew project. Stede is hanging very awkwardly from a rope ladder over the water, painting Renew as a Crew in elegant white letters on the side of the Revenge. Ed is beside him, hanging precariously out of a cannon window while painting his own slogan - Release the Kraken - in drippy black paint. Above on the deck there are many crew members. Izzy is standing right above Ed, shouting angrily and having a coniption because Ed is helping 'the twat', risking his life by hanging out the window, and for basically not behaving like Blackbeard. To the left of Izzy are Olu and Jim - Jim is giving Izzy the glare of death and holding their dagger ready to throw at him. Olu looks worried at Jim's dagger, knowing they might throw it. On Izzy's right side are Lucius and Roach, both staring angrily at Izzy and all his yelling. Above Stede are Swede and Buttons, both struggling to hold the rope with the ladder steady to avoid the captain falling off. Carl is flying next to Stede, giving directions up to Buttons.

It's Valentine's day - let us post all their kissy scenes! 💖💋 #OFMD #OFMDFanart #OFMDArt

Drawing of Ed and Stede's first kiss, on the beach by the privateer academy.

Painting of Ed and Stede's reunion kiss on the beach in the last episode. They are dancing and kissing, dressed as the caketoppers with seagull Buttons and crab Izzy are throwing roses at them. The Revenge in the background is sending up fireworks.

Painting of Ed and Stede's reunion kisses at the beach, the closeup of the 'I love you, I LOVE you - I know, I know that'-scene. Background is purplish pink and filled with stars.

Drawing of Ed and Stede kissing on the deck of the Revenge. Stede in his cursed shirt, Ed in his sack cloth onesie. The fish is also present, but out of sight. Background is dark greenblue with many stars.

Some of my WIPs and unfinished sketches. 1st: 'there he is' - the most emotional moment of the death scene. 2nd: Unfinished xmas card that I never got time to finish. 3rd: The Pina Colada kiss. 4th: Some character sketches of Ed and Stede. I don't know if or when any of these will be completed.

WIP of Izzy's death scene. Izzy lies on his back on the deck of the Revenge, Ed bends down over him, cradling his head and crying. Izzy smiles up at Ed and strokes his chin, saying 'there he is'. Unfinished pencil sketch with some patches of colours.

Very unfinished WIP of xmas card - sketch of chibi Stede and Ed dressed as santas, leaning on each other and sleeping.

Old WIP from the pina colada days. The Kiss between Ed and Stede, very sketchy and unfinished, some coloured patches.

Some old WIPs, pencil sketches of Ed's and Stede's faces.

Here are some of my newest kisses (or near-kisses): Two frames from the recent 'You drew me a lovely frame'-project. I cropped the dancing pic a bit and zoomed it in, so Buttons and Izzy would be easier to see. :) #ofmdart #ofmdfanart #ofmd

A snippet of a larger painting, created for the 'You drew me a lovely frame' project. Ed and Stede are dressed like the cake toppers, Stede in a peach coloured suit, and Ed in a cerulean blue dress with pink flowers. They are dancing on a beach, kissing. To their right is the seagull Buttons sitting on a rock, holding some roses in his beak. To their left is Izzy in crab shape, with a golden leg. He is throwing roses at them.

Ed and Stede close together, Stede in his dark teal shirt, Ed in his leathers. Ed is holding Stede's face in both hands, just having kissed each other. Ed looks down and says 'I love you, I love you!' Stede looks him deeply in the eyes and says 'I know, I know that!' Background is purplish pink with stars and glitter.

Only a few hours left now! I made three frames for this project, and have already posted a snippet from one of them. Here are snippets from my other two:

A purple leg and a shapely butt on a pink background.

Blonde curls and a green shirt, and a hand with a spider tattoo and a green ring. The background is purplish pinkish with stars and sparkles and the words 'I know'.

A small snippet of a much larger drawing. Buttons the seagull is sitting on a rock on a sandy beach, holding a couple of roses in his beak. Behind him are ocean waves steadily rolling in.

I should be very busy with running the latest OFMD fanart frame project, and I am, most of the time. I've never written fics in this fandom, only fanart. But suddenly this scene turned up in my head, and it wouldn't leave me until I had written it down. Now what? #ofmdfic #ofmdfanfic #ofmd

A photo of young boy Ed watching his parents fighting. His eyes are huge and dark, and he looks scared.

Imagine Ed (or Taika) wearing this?! The colours would be so amazing on him! 😍 Would anyone feel like drawing that? #OFMD #OFMDart

Tanned and tattoed man wearing a shirt and shorts ensemble in dark midnight blue with pink flamingoes and purple/blue plants. The colours are striking against the tanned skin.

I made two versions of this, because I couldn't decide on what background I liked the most. I guess two cakes are better than one... 🥰

The scene of Ed and Stede's very first kiss, on the beach outside the detention facility. The background has light blue sky with a few clouds, and the background is green grass with small white flowers.

The scene of Ed and Stede's very first kiss, on the beach outside the detention facility. The sky is pink and yellow sunset, and the background is messy green shrubs.

Ed and Stede kissing in the moonlight onboard the Revenge. Stede has his red, cursed shirt and Ed is wearing his flour-sack onesie. The sky is dark bluegreen with many stars.

I painted this moonlight kiss a few days ago, because I needed it on the bar wall in my latest project #youonlyframetwice I had to paint it very fast because it was deadline day, so it is a bit rough around the edges and with a few mistakes, but - it is what it is. #ofmd #ofmdfanart #ofmdart

Ed and Stede share a kiss in the moonlight on the deck of the Revenge. Stede is wearing his red, cursed shirt, and Ed is wearing his probation onesie and holding his fish (not visible in this painting, but it is present.) Ed's hair is half up half down, in a messy bun. The background is dark blue green with many stars.

I just painted my version of their first kiss. I wasn't part of the frames project last year, so I had never gotten around to paint it before. But I needed it in the background for my latest project, so here it is! Brand new and with a gold frame! 🥰😘 #ofmd #ofmdart #ofmdfanart #youonlyframetwice

Ed and Stede experiencing their first kiss, sitting on the beach near the English boot camp. The colours are bright and sunny, and they are surrounded by green grass and white flowers. The sky is blue with a few clouds scattered about. Both Ed and Stede are wearing the boot camp issued white shirts with wide sleeves. Ed is clean shaven and his hair is half up, half down. His arm is around Stede's shoulder and they are kissing carefully and chaste with their eyes closed.

'You only frame twice' is a fandom project where we are creating an animatic from the script David J has been posting. As a background artist, I have created these two interiors of the Inn. See descriptions in the alt text. @youonlyframetwice.bsky.social #youonlyframetwice #OFMDart #OFMD

These are two views of the same room - the new-built function room of the Inn - which in this episode has been rented to a wedding party. At one end of the room, you see the rather simple wooden bar, which is the first thing they built - to start earning some money to build the rest. There are several paintings on the wall (by Lucius), the Revenge name plate, the cat flag and Ed's stuffed fish. There is also a nice table there for the wedding cake. There are double doors to the kitchen, flowers and bottles on the bar top, and a chandelier is seen above.

At the other end of the room are 4 dining tables with chairs being set up and decorated for the wedding guests. One table is bare, because the scene starts with Ed dressing it. The other tables have white table cloths, flower boquets in jugs (they hadn't bought vases yet), and 2 chairs by each table. (To give room for many guests). There are two windows on the end wall (showing the green hills) and a door leading out to a porch. There is also a window on the other wall, showing the sea. The windows have fancy blue curtains, there are two chandeliers, and several framed paintings on the wall. The flower arrangement is pink hibiscus, purple lavender sprigs and white lilacs.

I love all these cute parallels you tie into it! The left panel is like the removal of the blindfold, while in the right panel Stede gives Ed the tie he'll be wearing forever after. And the panels are also parallels and opposites of each other - Ed taking care of Stede, and Stede taking care of Ed.
