Had the honor of visiting our Canadian consulate today to discuss trade the day after the Prime Minister announced they are looking for new partners… They asked about messaging and I said “Nothing different from what you’re doing. Elbows up. We suffer no tyrants. Well… we do. I don’t recommend it.”

Also feel like the economy is a big culprit. Eventually the jobs for respectable adults to run those spaces were deemed unlivable/ shameful. Plus, none of my friends with kids have time or energy for drop off/ pick up. Sports are set months in advance so Parents are going bankrupt for a set schedule

I mean, I’m a millennial but it was a weekly occurrence to stop at Bullwinkles for dinner before rehearsals on the West Bank in ‘09-10. (Dinner being free popcorn and 1-2 $5 pitchers of Grain Belt).

It was pleasantly busy! But you own a soccer bar on the night the World Cup begins… although missed, your absence was understood by all! (I asked literally everyone in attendance).
