Here's an example of the kind of scam you get when you register a company. Looks like a legit government wmform but it's just a scam trying to get you to pay for something that is actually free to file. The company name is "501-CORP".

"X is just a distraction from Y" presumes that X and Y aren't equally as bad and equally as deserving of attention. If you "flood the zone" with enough bad stuff, then yeah, it's not possible to report on it all, but that's the actual problem, not that one is better or worse than the other.
