Also, would it be possible to share these Miis on TomodachiShare? It’s a site that lets you share LtD Miis. It also lets you share the personality sliders, parts used, and general info of each Mii.

Fred Rodgers on the importance of making something even if other people don't think it's good had me crying this morning. Passing it along for anyone else that might need it.

A man in a green sweater and blue shirt drawing with crayons across three pictures. "Do you like to draw with crayons. I'm not very good at it but it doesn't matter"

A man in a green sweater and blue shirt drawing with crayons across three pictures. "It's the fun of doing it that's important. Now, I wouldn't have made that if I'd just thought about it."

A man in a green sweater and blue shirt drawing with crayons across three pictures. "No matter how anybody says it is. It feels good to have made something. The best thing is that each person's would be different."

they did, in fact, take decisive action. in the midst of these hearings congress passed the third enforcement act, called the Ku Klux Klan Act. the grant administration used that authority to virtually eliminate the klan, which did not resurface for another 50 years.

over the course of 1871, congress held seven months of hearings on ku klux klan and other white vigilante violence in the south, they took detailed testimony from hundreds of black men and women attesting to klan terror. (1/?)

this wasn't just fact-finding, it was a form of what @joshchafetz.bsky.social calls "congressional overspeech." the testimony from black americans was dramatic and divisive. it captured the attention of the public and helped build support for aggressive action against the klan (2/?)

we should want to make it undeniable that there is no choice but to end ICE, prosecute its officers for lawbreaking, and fundamentally rethink immigration enforcement.

this is all to say that should democrats win the house and senate this november, they should hold similarly dramatic — which is to say televised and highly publicized — hearings on the conduct of ICE and CBP, with testimony from victims. we want as much of *this* as possible in the record. (3/?)
