Day 3 #NoAInktober: Witchcraft Centipede Witch can make your wildest dreams come true…for the low, low price of one measly eyeball 👁️ #art #fantasyart #inktober #inkdrawing #horrorart
A four-armed humanoid figure garbed in flowing dark robes wields a sickle, a censer filled with smoking incense, and a handful of eyeballs attached to strings. Her neck is a centipede the snakes up and out of her cowl and ends in a small head whose face is shrouded in darkness by a pointy straw hat. The base of her neck is sprouting eyeballs like malignant growths. Spines grow out of her back and her arms are covered in a chitinous armor.

#spilledinktober #spilledink #onion #jackolanternonion #notmyfavouriteart Day 7: onion. Carving emotional onions for Halliumoween.
For spilledinktober prompt: onion.
A loose and quickly done drawing of a red onion with a sad jack-o-lantern face carved into it; plus three tinier green onions with other emotions/faces/moods.
Colours used were dark red, fuchsia, light purple, and grass green.

#spilledinktober #spilledink #nail #nobarakugisaki #jjk Day 6: nail. Mother-in-law picked these colours for me today. (With ~10 drawings of at least 6 other characters started, my money was not on Nobara being my first finished JJK fanart. Congrats, queen.)
For spilledinktober prompt: nail.
A side-profile drawing of Nobara Kugisaki from Jujutsu Kaisen holding up a single nail. I also changed her uniform buttons to little onions because I felt like it.
Colours used were blaze orange, blue, purple, and grass green.

#spilledinktober #spilledink #squid #green #iwannaholdyourhand Day 5: squid. My ~3yo son picked all greens for me today. (Oopsie if this makes the thread ugly/unorganized.)
For spilledinktober prompt: squid.
Drawing of a tiny squid holding onto a diver's index finger.
My small child picked the four colours, all greens, for this one.

Thank you!! I will hopefully get to catch up on your prompts soon! I'm drawing strictly OCs for your list, which is hard because I usually just let them run free and play in my brain, and rarely put them on paper. 🙃

#spilledinktober #spilledink #armor #armouredcatfish #pleco Day 4: armor. Husband picked these colours to challenge me, thanks. 😒
For spilledinktober prompt: armor.
Loose drawing of an armored sucker catfish, mostly the head and first half of body. My husband picked four colours for me and it was pretty rough working on this to the point of accepting it as okay art. (Peep the orange squid silhouette!)
Colours used were peachy-orange, aqua, grey-blue, and dark grey.

#spilledinktober #spilledink #crush #sampokoski #hsr Day 3: crush. I miss him everyday...
For spilledinktober prompt: crush.
A drawing of Sampo Koski from Honkai Star Rail, who I absolutely developed an immediate crush on... Whatever.
I don't draw Hoyoverse characters often because their outfits are so dang extra; especially Sampo's stupid shoulder armor piece that I gave up on.
Colours used were pink, dark red, turquoise and dark blue.

(I still love you, fictional problematic guy.)

#spilledinktober #spilledink #tooth #Carchariastaurus #sandtigershark Day 2: tooth. My favourite shark.
For spilledinktober prompt: teeth.
A semi-realistic/more detailed close-up of the face of a sand tiger shark, aka grey nurse shark, to show its mouth full of cool teeth. The shark is crushing a Crush soda can in its jaws.
Colours used were light peach, pink, aqua, and gold.

Thread for Spilled Inktober 2026 art ... I'm using these prompts as daily warmups, and limiting my media to four watercolour pens, an ink pen of choice, and white gel pen. #spilledinktober #spilledink #frog #frogwithteeth #underthewater Day 1: frog. "Under the water we are alone."
For spilledinktober prompt: frog.
A cartoon-y frog that appears to be sinking into the depths. The frog's mouth is wide open, revealing some silly teeth.
Colours used were grey-blue, aqua, and lime+grass greens.

Honestly, art is slow again because I am reinvigorating my plant passion + started gardening this year... Sometimes when I wake up too early in the morning, I go outside while it's still grey and cool, and hang with my plants because it feels like the closest I can get to okay right now.

My full piece for Polar Lights 4: Eventide + my very first zine contribution! 🌨️ This chilly collection of work is still available for $2, and all raised funds go to the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition. polarlightszine.itch.io/polar-lights-4 #grylloblattid #invertart #traditionalart
Traditional artwork of an icecrawler/icebug aka grylloblattid. The insect looks similar to both roaches and crickets with copper-y coloration; it sits in the bottom-left portion of the artwork and faces toward an ice cave's exit point at the top-right portion. Sunlight shines into the cave from that top-right area and appears as a light yellow swirl. The rest of the piece is various icy cave components, such as icicles, smooth icy flooring and walls, etc.; lots of blues, greys and powdery white coloration.

Here to do more of the #wurmpril challenge. Prompt: alt. type(s) I imagine the ghost typing is gained if one does not survive parasitism. (And the OG ghosts, #Gastly, #Haunter, and #Gengar, are slightly aghast.) #wurmple #pokemon #pokemonart #traditionalart
This piece of art is for the Wurmpril 2026 prompt "Alt. Type(s)" ... Which was one of the prompts I began working on from last year's prompt list; yay for finishing an art, kinda.

The artwork is of a Wurmple facing left. It is holding its head/face with its arms and looking down with (my attempt to draw) a sad/zombie-like expression. The Wurmple has been parasitized by wasp larvae and is becoming a ghost type; Wurmple looks wispier, has more purple in its colour palette than normal, and little ghost-shaped creatures are attached to its body.

The background is vague forest: dark green-purple canopy up top, a pale blue-green clearing, and reddish-purple grassy shapes in the foreground.
Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar also appear floating in the background and are showing concern/fear about Wurmple's ghost transformation.

"Berries" piece for late #wurmpril. April was kinda rough, but I still want to chip away at the six remaining drawings for the ten prompts I chose. 🤷 #wurmple #oddish #pokemon #pokemonart #traditionalart #rawstberry #aspearberry #oranberry
This piece of art is for the Wurmpril 2025 prompt "berries."
It's late, sorry.

The artwork features a Wurmple which has eaten through a pile of three berries. There is a rawst berry on the left, an oran berry on the right, and an aspear berry behind these two to create a round-triangular pile of berries.

The Wurmple has tunneled through the three berries, so it appears in three parts:
1. Its head and front part of its body are popping out of the oran berry and Wurmple is kinda waving at the viewer,
2. the middle part of its body reappears from the aspear berry and disappears behind it,
3. and Wurmple's tail end is shown at the entry point of the triple-berry tunnel which is the rawst berry.

The background is pretty a general blue sky + vague green grass. There are a couple of puffy white clouds toward the top of the drawing, with some pinkish-purple dreamy clouds on the top right (because this piece is actually on the same page and connected to the previous Wurmpril piece I did... some of the clouds are just overlap.)
Additionally, there are two Oddish, one on each side of the berry pile, planted in the ground to look like bigger grassy pieces of the background. The left Oddish is peaking out from behind the rawst berry, and the right Oddish is smiling next to the oran berry.

This was going to be two parts, but, whatever. "Nap time" piece for #wurmpril. #wurmple #pokemon #pokemonart #traditionalart Easter eggs: #silcoon #beautifly #cascoon #dustox #jigglypuff #minior #lunatone #staryu #musharna
This piece of art is for the Wurmpril 2025 prompt "nap time."

The artwork features two sleeping Wurmples. The middle, pupal evolutions, Silcoon and Cascoon, are drawn as pillows; and, the final, adult-bug evolutions, Beautifly and Dustox, are drawn as blankets.

In the top drawing, a Wurmple is sleeping on its back-and-side with the Silcoon pillow under its head and the Beautifly blanket pulled up under its first set of legs. The overall appearance is meant to resemble drifting away to sleep.
In the bottom drawing, another Wurmple sleeps on its stomach with the Cascoon pillow under its head and the Dustox blanket pulled over itself like a little blanket-hood; the Wurmple is drooling as it sleeps. The appearance is meant to depict the after-you-crash nap.

The background is a gradient (from left to right) of dark-black night sky and evening pastel-ish sunset, and the ground beneath the lower Wurmple is green and vaguely grassy.

Additional Pokémon featured are:
Jigglypuff singing in the top right,
Minior, Lunatone, and Staryu floating in the night sky portion (left side of art mostly) as spacey-nighttime objects,
and Musharna, bottom-center of the art, producing its sleepy pink-purple clouds.

Another piece for the #wurmpril challenge: bug friends. A #venipede for my friend, Ray, and a #paras for myself. We also both agreed that #trapinch should be here as an honorary bug. Yay friends! #wurmple #pokemon #pokemonart #traditionalart
This piece of art is for the Wurmpril 2025 prompt "bug friends."

The artwork has three bug-Pokémon friends hanging out with wurmple. They are all right-facing, and walking: venipede is to wurmple's right, trapinch at the back, and paras to wurmple's left.
The background is a pastel-ish sunset (from left to right: blue, purple, pink, orange, and yellow,) and the ground beneath them is vague grassy shapes of the same colours, just darker and greyer.

Playing catch-up for the #wurmpril challenge! (Hoping to complete 10-ish prompts that intrigue me.) Anyway, the word "beloved" makes me think of a specific main menu screen and its accompanying music; 2002 was a good year. #wurmple #pokemon #kingdomhearts #pokemonart #traditionalart
This piece of art is for the Wurmpril 2025 prompt "beloved."

The artwork closely resembles the main menu screen from Kingdom Hearts. A Wurmple sits on a sandy beach with a leaf that it munched on, standing in where Sora normal is in the original art. The Kingdom Hearts logo is changed to read "(Dearly) beloved Wurmple" and some other Pokémon aspects were incorporated into the art.
