This is great! I should've been clearer: would like to have better GUI tools for editing audio tracks in-engine - specifically for timeline arrangement and parameter automation of synchronized streams. Basically asking for native fmod-capacity tooling here, haha

Oh in the 2D game space I would agree even more so! (even though I just said I couldnt). Do you treat low vs high frequencies any different when it comes to stereo imaging?

Couldn't agree more! I'm currently designing a ton of sounds for a VR game. I find it REALLY helps the immersion to give positional sounds a bit of stereo width in addition to their 3D position - especially if you automate the 2D wet mix over the sounds playback time to create size dynamics.
