Guess 2024 Mark Andrews was pretty good. Just need that to continue to the playoffs this year.

Come on Caps. Score on this 4 min power play, get back in the series.

If the Caps lose this series, half the reason will be because the power play is so bad.

Carolina #2 vs Washington #3. Next round of the playoffs will be rough but should be entertaining. It will also be the #1 playoff goalie vs the #2 playoff goalie.

Shocked the Ravens would spend that much on a backup QB. I wonder what the base is though, “up to” can hide a lot

Get that bag Kupp! Congrats but I’m even happier now that the #Ravens got DeAndre Hopkins for 1/3 of the price

Sounds like a great W3 to me. Impressive the #Ravens like him so much they’re willing to cancel out a comp pick. That’s how you know they love you

3 years up to $39m? Glad Mekari got his bag, glad the #Ravens didn’t pay that much. Thanks for the comp pick!

Bateman’s 2 more years at $6m each looking better every day #Ravens

I hope the Steelers pay Rogers $100 million! Go full Browns

000

Bman @bman21212.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

So $14m /yr is now 2nd best for a C. Think the #Ravens can get Linderbaum for something closer to 14 than 18? You can’t have everyone getting paid top of market.

Bman @bman21212.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

Hell yea! Great for Garrett, get that money! Even better for the #Ravens confirming that the #Browns are going to trap themselves in purgatory. Too talented for a good draft pick, too bad for a Super Bowl.

000

Bman @bman21212.bsky.social · 08/03/2025

Love to see the #Ravens resigning Stanley for $20m x 3 years! He isn’t perfect but he easily could have gotten more on the open market where there’s no great LTs.

120

Bman @bman21212.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

I wouldn’t want to Ravens to get him for free and then pay $30m. At some point you have to trust Flowers and Bateman.

Before the NHL, an all-Black hockey league helped to innovate the modern game. The slap shot and goalies getting down on their knees to make saves all have origins in the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes, formed 130 years ago. ✍🏾 @theathletic.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/athletic/614...

NHL teams should partner with and subsidize ice rinks. NHL itself should partner with equipment manufacturers to create quality but inexpensive gear. Hard to grow the game when it’s only a rich person’s sport.

Caps are rested and at home to Utah, who comes in tired. good thing too, because Washington's 5v5 play is in the tank of late. but their finishing is improving and they still have an unbelievable goal prevention rate. Utah is ok at evens but that's about all they have going for them.

000

Bman @bman21212.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Lindgren is a great 1B goalie but the Caps have been great at finding goalie prospects. Backup goalie seems like a spot they can save $2.5m which matters in a salary cap world.

Logan Thompson has been great but goalies are notoriously high variance and he doesn’t have a huge track record. Can’t get too mad at a top 15 goalie salary though. I wonder if this means Charlie Lindgren won’t get signed. Can’t have multiple expensive goalies.
