My old reliable racer has given me some trouble starting recently. Gave him a new battery today and a wash, and he should be trucking along. Next works are wheel bearing back right and the water cooler at the front. I've got experience with both, so I that's a job for a weekend in October ^^

Got to retire an Interstitial character today ^_^ Izumi dealt a phenomenal amount of harm to the Heart from Slay the Spire, passed on one of her moves to Tatsu from Way of the Househusband, and then departed back to her homeworld. Kickass way to bring that one to a close!

Met a man from North Carolina last Saturday who told me I sound like a Brit. I guess "across the Atlantic" wasn't on the map =p Y'all have too many words for a sandwich over there.

Adding a major rank to the team (and because I don't want them all to be blue...). I feel like the purple is less nice than on the plasma rifle, but it does set it apart... The last one I have left will be an ultra with an energy sword, so I'll have to paint white armor...

Still a work in progress, but quite happy with the basecoat so far. Painting a squad of the old stealth suits, in Titanfall colours :3

A quick paintjob to just occupy myself during the evening. I printed this Gordon over 2 years ago, and he (along with Alyx, some Combine and a load of headcrabs) just sat in a box because I ran out of motivation to paint. Glad to be getting back into it ^_^

Finished late last night: Space Bears scout squad! Rules wise, they're a Wolf Scouts kill team, except the wolf is a bear! I had a lot of fun with them, plenty metallics, airbrushing for the bear; also the first time I've done snow bases, with a custom snow mix! (didn't wanna shell out for GW)

Finished my space bugs. Tempted to refer to them as "Hive Fleet Giger" :3 I could have done a lot more with them in terms of detailing and basing and such, but I also didn't want them to become overly complex, so I think this is a good middle ground!

An essential member of the team I'm working on: An actual bear! Airbrush makes such easy work of fur when trying to get some blending done. It's basically just like doing zenithals, but with colour.

A bear miniature, mid pounce. The fur consists of multiple shades of brown, gaining in lightness and saturation towards the top. The bear wears a harness of brown straps and a red plate with brass trim along her back.
Her left hind leg is cybernetic and painted in a steel colour, with brass accents.
