You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

While we wait on the DDoS mitigation to end (there's nothing we can do but wait), we've stood up a temporary landing page with an explanation of what's going on. Hope to see you again soon! tcrf.net

The Cutting Room Floor
Server offline

Welcome to The Cutting Room Floor, a wiki about cut, unused, and left over content in video games. Unfortunately, our server is currently offline due to a DDoS attack.

We'll be back as soon as possible; the server is online and healthy, but traffic to it has been blocked until the DDoS subsides.

For updates, check @tcrf.net on Bluesky. Unfortunately, we're no strangers to scrapers/AI bots and DDoS traffic...

In the mean time, consider checking out our Discord server, or support us via Patreon or Ko-fi.
This is all really stupid

This DDoS seems to have been triggered by someone using Claude Code and getting banned from the site for it, intentionally evading that ban to make up a fake story about their LLM wiping their entire OS, and then firing off multiple abuse reports to our host.

It may not surprise you that this guy has some interesting thoughts on consent, or that he has multiple blog posts in which he brags about poisoning LLMs to win championships or flooding a social network with spam to give himself 1,000,000 followers.

Why are AI people always like this.

Stole this from the comments because this shit shouldn't be behind a paywall.

Crucially, the GLOVE has limitations, chief among them that for the device to work effectively and deliver its restraining pain shock, it must come into contact with the subject's bare skin. According to Compliant Technologies, the gloves won't work through dry clothing or thick hair. The gloves will work, however, if the subject is wearing thin, wet clothing, such as soaked T-shirts or blouses. The GLOVE also does not like being dunked in water and will likely be rendered inoperable if this happens.

Considering all the unused text in the JP version, I'm assuming Sunshine was meant to be a VERY different game at some point and then the classic early-GCN "We need this game out NOW" thing hit and they just leaned more on the 64-isms.

010

Matt @blunderblue.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Yeah, the more you stare at Sunshine the more you can tell it's trying to copy 64 to its detriment. Secret shines serve literally no purpose because the final boss isn't gated by shine amounts but by the Shadow Mario missions.

Hey guys! Due to the trend of "what's your undertale soul color" reels I've seen recently, I decided to make something hopefully more accurate and fun than the other tests out there. I wanted it to be very Undertale themed and to have a bunch of Easter eggs. Try it at undertale.jadenthejaded.uk!

Super Paper Mario is weird because despite being nothing like 64 or TTYD, it's still way more like them tonally than the next 3 games. They continue running gags, it has a similar structure even if it's a weird 2D hybrid now, it's strange. Even stranger is how the TTYD remake actually references it.
