Also — A large part of voters appear to be OK w/Trumps version of America / dictatorship Dems: your mission if you choose to accept it—- figure out messaging that mirrors Trumps version but in a different way. This is not hard- think outside the box & hire ppl who will overhaul the messaging.

I don't think most Americans realize how hard tariffs are about to hit them. The combination of 1) escalating tariffs, 2) companies slowly passing the cost to consumers, and 3) the repeal of the de minimis exemption in the Big Beautiful Bill, a lot stuff will be more expensive in 2027.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
