That time someone dumped a toy house on the cemetery wall and, when I crouched a bit, some ✨ Hollywood Magic ✨ occurred.
A plastic dolls house sitting on a wall, taken from an angle which makes it look as if it might be one of the houses on the street.

The magnificent Madra Salach at the Tramshed in Cardiff last night. Wish they'd done Spancil Hill but that's a very minor gripe.

This looks like a fascinating book about beer culture in Mesopotamia by @tatepaulette.bsky.social But I can't believe he didn't call it Ziggurats and Alcohol. aeon.co/essays/mesop...
Ancient clay plaque from Mesopotamia showing a man and woman having sex, the man standing behind the woman, who bends over to drink from a jug of beer on the ground.

The words vegetable and vigorous share a common Latin root, so to speak. These days we may be more familiar with the expression 'to veg out' meaning the opposite of vigorous. But anyone who's done a bit of gardening will understand the connection.
Butternut squash plants growing vigorously.

With all respect to the BBC, the reason this story "matters" is not about whether it distracts from Reform's conference. It "matters" because it is important our leaders are not conspiring to break the law.
