Yes, she’s more out of the water at 150mph than 100mph, but she’d be even more out of the water at 200mph. The idea that 150mph represents a ‘full plane’ and 100mph doesn’t has no basis in hydrodynamic fact. There is a transitional phase yes, but it’s at around 70mph

Bluebird doesn’t ‘float on a bed of air’, that’s not how she operates. Her entire design is predicted on avoiding an air cushion, unlike boats like Spirit of Australia. The only real lifting force is hydrodynamic

Plan today for Bluebird K7 The Festival is to put K3 on the water so if there's a suitable weather window she can go straight out. K7 will be brought down onto the shore so there should be great views of her by the lake. As usual, she will run if possible but only if weather is suitable
