cost are we allocating? Is it any surprise that we just... fake doors? Resident evil, dark souls, etc. I LOVE those solutions. Make it a non-factor. Shoutouts to FFXIV for just... not interacting with anything ever. Hover your hand up and glow a light. It's easier. It saves millions. Trust.

Doors! The unholy intersection between two terrible cost sinks in video games. On the one hand, a model has to touch a different model and somehow manipulate it to open. It probably needs to swing in a direction. Does the character model move back with the swing? Move forward? Does the doorknob..

The big tip I've had for friends is to focus down the sahagin. You can bypass its electric aura thing by using the quelling wave borrow from a wavekin. It's the BST's ranged GCD option and won't trigger the electric spikes. That's my big secret for the fight beyond small optimizations

Oh god I just read that you already use the stun. I'm so sorry. Was reading bleary eyed from bed. For what its worth, on my first clean kill of that fight, the snail reshelled itself 3 times before I got my kill

How are you getting along with the sahagin first? Outside of the big aoe, the snail doesn't represent too much damage and the friend is the threat. As for the snail itself, it's vulnerable to slows and stuns. I actually bring the buffalo for it's tempered release to give me more time with it

Right. I did this exact same thing. So you need a certain amount of points to be given beast XP. From my experiences, it's about 2 fights clear minimum. If you're up for advice from strangers, I do actually have a couple of tips for fight 2. Good luck though! You can do it ✊

I uhh.. tricked my brain into memorizing how it was laid out in Cradlebridge and then it didn't work as well elsewhere and then the quick travel didn't quite work anyway and so I stopped trying to use it. But I DID brute force a use out of the vampire highway

I can understand that take, but the thing that drew me into the series in the first place was Eccleston's wonder. The platonic ideal of the Doctor in my head isn't juvenile, but they are excited by the world around them and have a knack for talking their way around problems because of that curiosity
