We've had Elena for so long now and were on the cusp of trying to integrate her into our home, but she finally caught the interest of a nice family of her own. I was so worried she was going to be nervous or scared that when I saw this picture, I started tearing up. Good job, girl! You graduated!

My absolute favorite in the space is Inscryption. It's a horror roguelike deck builder that plays with the tropes of both horror games and deck builders and comes away as something more than the sum of its parts. Just don't expect it to be straightforward with you.

Mama Rainy is soaking up some attention for herself now that her little ones went off to our partner rescue for their next chapters. Rainy developed an acute case of GI distress, probably pancreatitis, probably from the stress of having kittens demanding milk & too much new nutrition too soon.

I have a Big Ask from our community. Many of you will remember our graduates Pikachu and Eevee, who were adopted together. Eevee had dealt with some very challenging chronic diarrhea while she was a kitten, but before adoption, we figured out a food that worked for her & she was all better (thread)

A coworker used the word r______d in casual conversation in our office. After exiting the office but still where others could hear me, I told him that although I know the word has made a huge comeback, it's still a slur and an HR violation and I had better not hear it again. Two more (please dear gods let these be the last) kittens from the Spice Rack colony, a little girl who was easy to hand-scoop & a little boy who took 48 hours to trap. We got mom first day but unfortunately the boy was too scared & suspicious to come out again, so we had to be patient & persistent.

Rygar on NES. I was an arcade kid who grew up playing the usual stuff on Atari 2600 and although there were exploration game like Pitfall 2, nothing got that exploration and open world feel quite like Rygar. Cool weapon, cool monsters, great music, just the total package.
