today in Stop Romanticizing Canada: Quebec’s Bill 9 has just taken effect, barring women in veils from receiving public services. Public employees include university faculty, so professors have been instructed to require veiled women to uncover their faces or be removed from the classroom.

If your "news" website requires me to login with my email to get "free" access, that's a hard no from me. You don't get to market stuff to me if I don't get to sample your wares first. And I'm not signing up until I know you won't be selling my email to someone else.

Have you ever noticed that in the movies it is always the women who are the crazy stalkers? And those are often comedies. Occasionally the stalker is male, and it's a romcom where the woman eventually falls for him. In RL women are assaulted and killed by stalkers every day.

What about the "grudgework" (sic) of checking your sources? That Wikipedia link literally says the origin story of the ring is a myth, and that "the initial batch of Iron Rings were actually produced by World War I veterans at Christie Street Military Hospital in Toronto." LOL.

Not a good look: arresting seniors calling on Mark Carney to not walk back our climate obligations. In my last 2 years as MP I ran a gauntlet of threat, swarming and harassment everyday from conspiracy ragers. House security and Ottawa police just watched. Seems instructions have been issued.

These new Terry Fox Run ads are killing me. I'm old enough to remember his run. We watched the news every day to see how far he had gotten. He was so brave, so young, so beautiful, so determined. A true Canadian hero. I was devastated when he had to stop. 💔
