it is quite grotty tbh
it’s very much a developing country in that faint underlying gentle constant whiff of sewerage wherever you go put your dirty loo paper in a bin kind of a way
there are on the surface swish resorty hotels but they are not at all swish really (see private beach fig 1 below)
