Reality fascinates me sometimes. So, I've been recently made aware of "Bamse." I've been kind of obsessing over how cute and wholesome it seems, and the wolf character that I learned was a just tragic little guy, who I now adore with all of my heart. Memes and jokes were made and education ensued.

A meme created by me of a snippet of a comic page from a series called "Bamse." There is a watermark from the website it was hosted on, but it has been cropped poorly. A black wolf is gesturing to a small red fox in a yellow and green shirt, drinking a jar of pink liquid. The onomatopoeia "KLUNK" is above her head, for the sound of her drinking. Side note: My lamp arrived the same day someone I knew had passed. We weren't close, but we talked, she helped me with my art, and I looked up to her. It was rough. This was what I saw opening my lamp. It may be an empty platitude, but at the moment, it helped. I think that's something at least.

Finished reading this little gem. Might have to talk about it in depth some day. But to make it short, LOVED it~ Blood and gore have the potential to be artistically utilized, and this novel is a reminder of that. Suspenseful, intriguing, with a dash of psychological horror. Absolute treat~
