iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I hear you, and I did this for 2 boss fights that got annoying. But if I'm reviewing something, I tend to want to get the default experience

Realistically we do not have the manpower nor space on the content calendar. That'd also be tough to sustain a podcast length discussion and the views wouldn't be there for it. In a perfect world we could update reviews as games get updated but this happens so often that it'd be unsustainable.

That'd be awesome lol (honestly though so many reviewers had this complaint)

Anyway combat balance and repetitiveness is what kept me from saying it was a 10 out of 10 so take that for what it's worth lol

Obviously it's rad that you can make these adjustments and good on them for doing that. But also this fix I imagine would fix quite a few of my issues? Like is a re-review warranted? Should games just not be reviewed until like a week after launch?

I don't mean this as an "I told you so" post but I remember the day they announced the Activision acquisition and I said I was worried because corporate consolation doesn't seem good. People acted like I was insane for saying that. And now people acted like we all celebrated it. And I'm like ???

On our show today we're going to say this is bad and then Twitter and Reddit will clip it out and everyone's gonna say we have an anti-Xbox bias

Podcasting about video games and reading the comments is just rejection therapy and my strength has grown immensely day by day

A Screamer Fortnite skin being announced the same day that I said Fortnite skins don't do it for me is actually really funny. Guess I'm booting up Fortnite

Instead of celebrating that success, I'm mourning the loss of my and many of my talented colleagues' jobs. Please hire them. Please hire me. And please still read and watch our work. Our Steam Frame review is sharp and smartly critical of an extremely interesting piece of technology.

Valve's Steam Frame Is a Great All-in-One Wireless PCVR Headset, but Is It Worth the Cost?

The Steam Machine is probably one of the first VR headsets that can do everything right out of the box, from standalone gaming to streaming 2D games from your PC. But the high price, short battery lif...

I'm begging you guys to ask for more than "it literally functions"

Not surprising at all actually imo! Xbox is very hungry and Microsoft can clearly afford it for potentially the next Metal Gear Solid

Never said there weren't wins this gen lol

I'm conflating critics and fans here, really it's just about sentiment that your product is beloved. I'd also note that movies aren't Nintendo's core product, which is indeed bolstered by audience love.

020

It really feels like PlayStation lost sight of that balance between successful games and beloved games this Gen. They're heavily chasing after one, and it's not working.

When your platform identity hinges partly on the prestige and critical success of your games, you might have to spend some money to maintain that even at the sacrifice of monetary success of individual titles. Because guess what? Physint being a critical darling helps sell the NEXT PlayStation game.

His games are very expensive to make and Death Stranding 2 didn't exactly do gangbusters (it sold well, but not extraordinarily). So my read is the number crunchers at Sony just weren't feeling it. That said, you can't only listen to the number crunchers.

I wanted to be able to carry something in my pocket. So if that's not as much of a desire then you're probably good. If you wanna play ds games though, this is a must.
