My only compliant for E-Day's Horde Siege mode is that it really needs to fill up empty slots in lobbies. I had my entire squad abandon a mission, and it was a slog to deal with the friendly AI that just can't keep up against enemies.

While I am really enjoying Gears of War: E-Day, it has to be the game that has given me the most crashes this year. Hopefully the game will have some optimization fixes coming out on the full release day.

Hit credits on Star Wars: Zero Company and it is an absolutely fantastic game in both gameplay and story but suffers from the same technical issues you'd see in XCOM 2. Long pauses in between actions and the camera will throw itself into the void of space. However, I'd put it up as my GOTY of 2026.

I can definitely see some improvements coming once the day one patch is out (especially with the civilian NPCs not escaping when they're told to), but I think the overall gameplay is not as engaging as I'd like. Enjoyed the single player mode though, and I think the presentation is fasntastic.

Played more of the Halloween game, and I'm just not having all that much fun with it. Some games I just die within the first twelve seconds because of a bad spawn, and other times the Myers player is just so horribly lost that they don't find any players or NPCs before they're mostly gone.

Yeah, I think using Kroxigor Scale contrast paint for the skin was a bad idea. Went back to Nighthaunt Gloom for my second Kroxigor (seen on the right), and it's a million times better. #Warhammer #AgeofSigmar #Seraphon #Kroxigor

Played my first game of Spearhead today with a coworker. My Seraphon got absolutely destroyed by his Ogors. Just had a really unlucky streak that we both laughed off, but I'm definitely gonna be giving this more of a go in the future.

Oh yeah! I haven't played it yet, but I definitely remember seeing snippets of the game over the years. I was thinking more of, like, a toggle in the settings or a choice at the start of the game, but Cold Fear's way of handling it was certainly unique.

Honestly, I prefer third-person but would love to have a mode where it swaps to fixed camera angles. It's probably not as easy to program as the FPS/TPS switch that 8/9 had, but would be a good way to keep your modern audience and celebrate the classic style.

Built the Warriors. Now I just need to make the Kroxigor and Oldblood on Carnosaur. Coworker wants to run a Spearhead game sometime soon, so I'm not doin much for basing yet. Ordered some bits that might make for good jungle terrain and might try making some Azteca patterned flooring with EVA foam.

Had to get a coworker to use the crane to lift the scrap off of my hand, and thankfully the weight wasn't enough to cause any real damage. Hell, the mark from the compression was gone within an hour. It could have been way *way* worse if the plate was heavier. 2/2

I am very lucky. Had a 2" thick metal plate scrap (48"x90+" scrap piece with tons of gaps from the pieces we cut) fall onto my hand at work today. Had my index finger pinched between the scrap and a wooden block, couldn't move my hand from underneath the scrap but didn't really feel much pain. 1/2

I 100% agree. It's damage is crazy, but not too bad and loading does make every shot a gamble. Even on a hit they could only roll 4 damage if they're especially unlucky. However! The rest of the party started to try and keep up with other superheavy weapons from later .lcps, lol.

Ah. Good ole Sting. Had a player in my group that used it all throughout NRfaW, and he'd either double/triple structure something in one hit or waste a turn and a half on a miss and reload. I'm rather glad he never invested in the autoloader because then I'd have nothing to hack on my turns.

I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.

Quick paint job of the Dracyl Demon from Dragon Trapper's Lodge. Bought the model over a year ago, and have had the colour scheme in my head since then. Finally put some time aside to paint it up, and I'm pretty happy with how the dry brushed purple into pink looks.
