All my brain did was go "Midsummer Nights Dream" and all that lead to was the donkey man. So have the Thaumaturge.

So one of the coolest thing about the Second 'Eds event was the chance to set up some army pics on 'proper' era-appropriate terrain. These pics were kindly taken for me with a real camera and everything! #Nerdlings #Warhammer40k #Oldhammer

I had an absolute blast at the 2nd Heads event organised by Ed from Minisodes at the weekend. A couple of games of 2nd edition (including a huge 3000pt a side one where we managed to get all my Chaos horde out), a game of Space Crusade, and a great time with like minded folk!

Back from an amazing weekend away at the 'Second 'eds' event organised by Ed from the YouTube channel Minisodes. Many games of 2nd Edition 40k were played across stunning tabletops with gorgeous, fully-painted armies in classic style but the main takeaway was what a lovely bunch of folks I'd met.

Photo of a game of Second Edition Warhammer 40k on a bright green battlefield littered with beautiful scenery in the style of the Warhammer games from the 90s. The battle is mett between black-armoured Sisters of Battle and red Blood Angels Space Marines. There are numerous sci-fi cactii.

A unit of pink-armoured Slaaneshi terminators stand beside a mutated chaos dreadnought.

The scarlet Blood Angels Terminators take up position in an imperial bunker, its blue-grey walls a stark contrast to the verdant green landscape around it.

Green armoured Salamanders take up position on a gantry, the missile launcher scanning for targets.

It's been a while since I joined in with #SelfPromotionSaturday so here I go. I design nostalgic 3D prints for wargaming that are easy to print on pretty much any FDM printer and need no supports, so no faffing about with support removal. Links to my stores below #3Dprinting #Oldhammer #Nerdlings
