Ok, but aside from affecting lungs, heart, blood vessels, brain, gut, liver, kidneys, pancreas, immune cells, eyes, gonads, placenta, and mitochondria, and infecting people year-round and repeatedly, SARS-CoV-2 is just a textbook seasonal virus like colds or flu.

Figure 7. Dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 E protein translocation to endomembranes in hippocampal neurons. The dynamics of E protein location were tested in rat hippocampal cultures treated with the E protein (E protein, 2 µg/mL) for 5, 30 and 240 min (4 h) in (A) young (6–8 DIV) and (B) aged (20–22 DIV) rat hippocampal neurons. Then, cells were fixed and immunochemistry experiments were performed using E protein antibodies and confocal microscopy. Representative immunofluorescence images and the corresponding bright field images are shown. The data are representative of three similar experiments. The scale bar is 10 µm.

Genotype and sex were directly matched; neither age nor cerebellum SUV nor injected dose differed between cases and controls (p > .05).
