not changing stage break functionality while effectively removing premium is so bad.

ngl I really don’t like the way the team has handled licenses since XX, especially since Phoenix. they‘re so obviously treated as disposable now which makes them feel like an afterthought instead of being part of a cohesive game.

Love to see this article making the rounds. I originally got my CO2 monitor as a proxy for air quality re: COVID, but it turned out to just be a generally valuable tool. I keep it by my desk now. Most of the time when I get a headache, I glance over to it, see it over 1k ppm, and crack a window.

The bottleneck might be the air in the room

You gather your most expensive people into a room to make your most important decisions. Then, somewhere in the second hour, the room quietly gets worse at making them. Not the people. The room.

obviously if it were a bot, it would not think this because it cannot think. instead it would beg the questions: who built it? why? what kind of demented prompt led to The Orange Yeti Post?

it's not just the non-sequitor that gets me. it's the type of person or bot who thinks bluesky is The Shitlib Blue Wave Resistance App and does not understand or care that people use it to talk about other things.

awesome that you’ve done this! i’m not sure if this still applies in 2026, but i wrote some qr code generation software years ago and ran into issues with some readers when i didn’t generate a border around the qr code. it’s apparently part of the standard.

and you think if someone doesn’t take this exact step because they failed to anticipate foul play, that’s on them?

How do you expect a layperson to verify a generated QR code? What should they do that isn’t ”scan the code and see where it takes you”?

there’s a common strat for patterns like this in which you bracket jump the red/yellow arrows together and jump the blue arrows together. it’s still a lot of movement but at least you can face forward through it. pump timing windows are wide enough that you can usually keep combo that way.

I'm with you on this. The originals in Rise are real strong. My main gripe about Rise is that the charting restrictions are too limiting, which makes it hard for me to get excited about any of the charts. I'm just looking forward to when the Rise songs make it into an arcade version in 3-6 years.
