Undolly is almost ready for iPhone Duo. Here's a sneak peak made with @matte_app

That explains the audience’s question on Linux. We’re exploring remote builds, including Linux machines. Running CI and giving agents their own build environments on cheaper machines is something we want to investigate.

We evaluated Tuist and would choose Bazel again for our project. Its capabilities and long-term foundations convinced us. We're still moving more work into Bazel, and local machine capacity is becoming our next constraint.

Our CI runs on Bitrise, with BuildBuddy for caching. We chose BuildBuddy for its detailed insights. We also reuse cached work across worktrees, which matters when we're working on several branches with agents.

Did everyone have to leave Xcode? Most still use it. Focused projects made it usable again for us. Some engineers use VS Code or Neovim. Sometimes we work through agents without opening an IDE at all.

We'd already spent years breaking up a huge monolith. That mattered: Bazel works at target level. A change inside a huge module still affects that module. We recommend starting with a modular architecture, whatever build system you choose.

This is how mav goto and jev work together. >50% faster iOS app navigation. Try it now, I’m pushing and releasing while I build. github.com/bitomule/mav

Not sure why the safe area is claiming so much space, but I’m getting closer. Wish I could afford an iPhone Duo to test this properly, maybe one day. 😂

New update for HiddenFace is almost done, and this one will be fun 🎉. I’m adding custom masks 🎭 and an editor, so now you can create your own masks and use them to cover whatever you want ✨.

New Undolly 4.1 shipped with some fixes and a new option to do analysis in data ranges. Want to review similar photos just from last year? Now it's possible. Clean WhatsApp photos from that crazy weekend? Possible. I love building based on users' feedback/ideas.

HiddenFace 2 is out 🎭 Blur faces in photos and video before you post. Fully on-device, your photos never leave your iPhone. Perfect for sharing pics with kids, friends, or strangers in the background (without getting them indexed). apps.apple.com/app/id67560...

Undolly is getting much better at surviving messy real-world photo libraries. Long scans now keep moving, recover better, and show progress in real time, so cleaning duplicates feels less like a gamble and more like a quick win ✨

Spent the day rethinking HiddenFace's first impression. Out: generic welcome screen. In: Bento Grid layout. More features are coming.

Proper live mode coming to Koubou. Just run `kou live` and it will open a web dashboard that will auto-update each time you or your favorite agent changes anything. Feels like magic. Next, I would like to build templates to make agents work easier. github.com/bitomule/Ko...
Koubou’s HTML live preview displays features like photo management, metadata details, and cleanup options for digital storage efficiency.

Improving Undolly Home: Which one do you prefer? Ignore the text with the poor Spanish translation 😂 I like the idea of guiding users to the most impactful thing and showing space first but WDYT?
Dark app interface showing photo cleanup options: freed space bar and cards for cleaning similar photos (16,578; 3.57 GB), large videos (1,071; 83.62 GB), screenshots (24; 15.4 MB), WhatsApp photos (712; 1.62 GB).Dark app interface titled "Undolly" showing storage cleanup categories: large videos 82.88 GB, similar photos 3.65 GB, WhatsApp photos 1.62 GB, screenshots 15.4 MB.

New Numly update is going big. If you love using analog paper, do bullet journal or any type of analog journal you are going to love it.

I think I'm in love with this animation in the new Numly version. What do you think?

The answer I have is a TikTok-like UI where you only see one video. Of course, with the familiar Undolly bottom toolbar that has 3 new buttons: delete, compress, and share.

Undolly 3 is coming as a free update, evolving from just cleaning similar photos to helping recover more space. Thoughts on the new home UI? (Placeholders will show category images)

Undolly is soon introducing more features to help you recover device space more efficiently. Free to all current users, including family sharing so all your family can make free space for more memories.

First of four? I aimed for two updates and two new apps, but I might not hit the mark.

What's it about? The app helps you track your stored food and its expiration dates. This is just the first MVP. I'm pleased with the speed achieved using existing apps and the frameworks developed so far.

Undolly features an all-new design with a greater focus on content and, of course, Liquid Glass.

I've completely redesigned the analysis UI based on your suggestions! Your photos now take center stage while providing rich contextual insights. I've spent weeks improving the composition intelligence to ensure your best photos always stand out. See for yourself!

I worked on Undolly onboarding over the weekend. Analysis begins as soon as you grant permissions, so when you open the main app screen, you're ready to go. It only takes a few seconds, but it significantly enhances the experience.

2) Formatting. Sweetpad has support for any formatter but it uses Swift format by default. To enable it add this to your .vscode/config.json. You can configure it to use any other parser. I haven't managed to enable auto indent shortcut in Xcode but formatting on save is fine.

Two last details. 1) I love running tests using CMD+U on Xcode and I was missing that on Cursor. I added it by changing the .vscode/tasks.json file like this and adding the shortcut in Keyboard Shortcuts > Add: "workbench.action.tasks.test"

Next, in order to enable Swift Sever features you have to build the project. Usually CMD+B works but you can also use Command Palette. It will ask you to create the build config. You can also create it manually with this content:

Making progress on duplicates analysis. Idea is to show what makes a photo better using badges. It also gives each image a score. I’m still refining both UI and the analysis algorithm. What do you think? #wip

Cursor workspace with BOXY as reference project + own CoreData library + own image processing library = Best setup I can reference my own code as example and use my library APIs just my mentioning the needed classes. Makes using Cursor even faster. #iOSDev #Cursor #AI #NewApp
