I don't know how many people would find the need to build stuff for a payment terminal from their Android device, but oh well...

A picture of a Motorola g84 with Termux on it. There's the 370network pax-s920 ProlinOS build environment folder opened with one of the homebrew projects built. After that there's the flle header info output for one of the built libraries.

This is Android m1, m2, m4, m5-rc15 and 0.9 on Motorola MING A1200! I took a fair bit of my own time and research to make this ol'mighty PXA270 phone with 48MB RAM run these old pre-sourcecode release unrecompilable Android builds. Built on top of the OpenEZX […] [Original post on mstdn.social]

Android 0.9 on the MING, showing the homescreen with the default layout.

Android m5-rc15 on the Motorola MING, it's on the homescreen and next to it there's a HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1) with Android 1.0 on it.

Android m4 (engineering) dumped from a Google (HTC) Sooner prototype running on the MING

Android m1 on the MING, also on the home screen. This build has also been dumped from a (HTC) Google Sooner prototype device.

I was just now informed that a rather well known YouTuber performed theft+miscredit with a clanker on a piece of code I once wrote in the past, not to mention the collective damage to the many others whose work has been stolen like this. Life is fun, especially if that same person is also […]

Leaving #ByteFEST is quite interesting right now, I am once again bringing more hardware home than I came there with, a lot of friendships got more hardened yet again, I've seen new things yet again and I am leaving with a very nice mood. albeit kinda sick now, but that seems to be a repeating […]

Someone complained that my posts aren't relatable enough, so today's Low Quality Ad is for this "I Have No Money And Also I'm Gay" Pin. If I know Mastodon, this one will resonate with 99.9% of you. collabs.shop/na0wjn

Enamel pin shaped like a flowing black banner with silver edges. The text reads "I HAVE NO MONEY AND ALSO I'M GAY" in decorative Gothic-style font, with a small rainbow arch at the bottom right.

My hate for current day web UX, app UX and computing overall is growing stronger every day. Can I speed up this painful process somehow so I don't have to see it for longer?

I may be the first person on the world who has managed something that no one else did so far, yet I don't want to talk about it yet, I won't get recognition for it and people won't even care. Life is sad in some regards like this. I just hope that I will be able to show it very soon this month.

@merlin I would rather have four registrars with infinite domains, but we can't sadly choose that freely 🙃

Having @ungeskriptet around at my place was so amazing. People, guys, moots, oomfs and anyone else, meet each other from time to time. It's so, so, so much better than to be stuck behind two screens with one internet link in between.

the AI is on the cusp of AGI except when the topic is all the moral issues around enslaving a sentient being and doubt that an AI god is even possible, then the goal was never AGI at all and you’re silly for thinking that’s still a thing the AI is a transformative tool that creates unique […]

Working on a device with constrained CPU performance and RAM is truly showing how far we regressed in optimization and such. I can't wait to show this weird project to the world.
