But that’s… that’s why they’re good to take on airplanes because the bags don’t explode and they don’t get smooshed??? Also I just saw the same thing for cocoa powder which usually comes in the same cylinders. Now it’s a plastic bag. Can we not?

I really, really want an old iPod with an absurd amount of storage (and a bluetooth chip) crammed into it but AI truly has ruined everything

Just ate at a Mexican restaurant so authentic that we both just reflexively ordered in Spanish 💃🏻

Living with an ex-Starbucks employee sounds like the dream until every bevvy he pours for you is only ever 2/3 full. 😢

if you send me to GitHub and it doesn't have a release .exe or .app I will strangle you!! ...I have come around on Docker stuff though. It only took me like a year of beating my head against a wall for it to click.

My manager has me on strict orders to ignore them 😌

Birds_rocks 🇨🇦 @birdsrocks.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Then they had the gall to say “in your absence, we decided XYZ, we’ll have another meeting about it tomorrow with you” Did ya? That’s nice. I still won’t be there 😌

Some middle manager (not mine) decided that they needed to hold an URGENT after-hours “social media strategy” meeting, which I gleefully declined. They still held that meeting, without either of the social media experts on staff present (the other one had also already left for the day)

My ARR is somewhere on the order of $1.5M, according to OpenAI’s math. I wonder if the bank will give me a loan based on that figure. 🙏

Did you know you can make caramel out of the whey you get when you make yogurt? And it’s sweet and sour and a little bit funky at the same time?? Crazy things happening here

One of their boussole results was very helpful in illustrating that QS is not really much more "scary" than the QLP when it comes to french, so on the socioeconomic axis-- the question becomes "are things going well and don't need to change, or do we need to try something else?"

I managed to talk a few of my millennial West Island friends into not voting red for the first time in their entire bloodlines. When confronted with "separatism will probably become necessary at some point to achieve our social goals" vs "everything is fine, actually", the choice wasn't that hard.

I put my parents in time out for several years. I wish I could have done it sooner. They still haven't apologized for how they treated me, but they are at least no longer mean to me in the present tense. They know I will just leave 😌

Fellas, is it woke to not want to interact with people who are mean to you?

Soooo what are we gonna do on day zero when PSPP refuses to swear the constitutionally required oath to the king and proceeds to govern as if he has any legal legitimacy? Are we gonna dismiss the constitution as a formality? My bet is yes! We have learned nothing 🤠

I can 2x-5x money and gather thousands of emails or Facebook profiles to hit them up for money at a later date… from my jammies. And people usually enjoy the process of giving me their email!! So why are they doing all that? Best guess is Business Idiots on the board.

Birds_rocks 🇨🇦 @birdsrocks.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Fun fact, they lose money when they do that thing because on top of being annoying and not scalable, there is usually a middle man hiring agency involved. They just consider it “awareness” advertising.

I (cis) too was only able to get dx’d, surgical care and a gynaecologist because I wanted my tubes out. When I woke up in the PACU the surgeon came to see me like “uhhh are you ok? It was a mess in there”. Now I’m on progesterone forever, but it is 100% doing the trick. 🙏

Or at the very least, the external network hierarchy outside of the specific production that would tell them that their thing sucks. This can be good or bad, depending on who is the dumber-ass. (Executive or Talent)
