Dog behaviourist said she does online but doesn't understand I'm autistic and that I don't like webcams. I suggested Signal.

Please pause your scroll for this spectacular weevil. You're looking at one of the first two iNaturalist records of Systaltocerus platyrhinus, shared just in the last month!

Every time I offer my finger, they say yes. No hesitation 🥹 Some people are scared of spiders, but this little one just wants to say hello, one tiny leap at a time. They're growing so fast, and honestly? I'm just the landing pad 💛 #jumpingspider #wholesome

People are so wrapped up in their overwhelm, that they are losing sight of each other. They say they care but postpone the check-in with the friend who is going through just as much. This goes both ways. Time is not something we find. It is something we provide. As is interest.

The pond has a net cover over it supported by a spider-like metal frame. Finn ignored that. So a stressful morning. Of course Finn has no idea what a pond is, to him it is a big puddle. Normally he would have gone straight into the house, but I think the walk stressed him out, so he acted out.

Nature Boy @birdman2026.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I was walking Finn today and 4 people had their dogs running off lead, one dog running up to other dogs. Stressful for me and Finn. Then when I got home, at the backdoor I took Finn's harness off, and he bolted for the pond and proceeded to put his front paws in it and start drinking.

Last weekend we went to Ft. Stevens to see some birds and as we were driving out of the park, this magnificent creature posed in a tree along the side of the road. I was driving so my brother captured this for me through the passenger side window. #Birds #ThursJay #Raven #ECK

A Common Raven perched on a bare branch in the crook of a mossy tree. Its body is facing the camera with its head turned towards the right frame. Its beak is tilted upwards and just slightly ajar. The light is soft and shows the oily iridescent look of its neck and shoulder feathers. It also shows a reflection in its eye.

Do you play chess? There's a very cheap game called Creaks which is nicely drawn which is a puzzle game. But the developers added some annoying little monster things, you have to avoid, which means you have to time things just right. So I always end up looking for the solution on youtube.
