I'm sure the comic book fandom side of things will be mad about it, but I thought the ending did a great job at tying all the story's themes together. I really did not see the characterization for the Manhunter coming at all, and it's cool how well it works with both Hal and John's backstories.

The launch for that game when everyone was still discovering bizarre new stuff with no wikis to go off really was magical and unlike anything before it. But it is hard to enjoy doing all that again without the feeling of discovery.

Just learning to get comfortable with writing down melodies isn't too hard, but getting the right sound can be annoying. I personally use Ableton and I know that has an option to "quantize" your notes, shifting them into their right place by a certain percentage.

The final Salmonid was a lovecraftian monster created by centuries of rituals in a mad quest for power, which have seemingly brought the entire society to ruin. With it out of the way, it is now clear that the common Salmonids were never responsible for the attacks that got them their notoriety.

I really strongly doubt they forgot about it. Grizz was the last villain and the new owner of Grizzco, Lil' Judd, is already being set up as the next villain. Deep Cut is blatantly stupid and not very ethical. I think this game will be setup for a Salmonid justice plot in Splatoon 4.
