The BBC cancelling Winterwatch is such a shame, especially when we need to be connecting with nature more than ever. If we want people to protect our wildlife, we have to show them it! Add your name to ask the BBC to reconsider. you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/do...

Tell the BBC: Save Winterwatch!
The UK is losing its wildlife, and shows like Winterwatch are vital for connecting us to nature. The BBC's decision to cancel it makes no sense. Let's ask them to rethink this! Add your name here:

Neonicotinoides used in flea treatments 80% of the uk pets use them that’s approximately 17million, if all treated 0nce per month that’s 706 cubic metres used per year. 5ml could kill 1.25 billion insects. My calculator can’t work that out! It’s a serous issue #teammoth

I was reading on fb about only trapping 1-2 nights per week, to stop trapping the same moths, i trap far more than that and release 50m away over the other side of the house just on dusk, Do you feel you are catching the same ones, I don’t think I am but thoughts #teammoth

One of the amazing positives about joining in and helping doing survey work, is that sometimes you have moments like today! You also walk stunning places and see the amazing work that a lot of farms do for the love of their farms and nature! They really need more credit than they get!!

Went out in the new forest odrata surveying on Saturday, bonus this time I had actual water this time and it was full of odrata 4 sp seen in the end, only one I didn’t photograph was black-tailed chaser
Common blue or common bluet, prefer the first, second sounds to American Emperor or indeed emperoress egg laying, yes yes I know there’s a word for it but a) I’ve forgotten it b) I can’t be arsed to look it up and spent time trying to spell it right c) it’s late d) it’s been a very long week!!! Broad-bodied chaser Silver studded blue while walking the mile to the ponds
