Is this true? No one tell Megumin. (the original is better and it didn't need a remake, but it's still Rayearth, might as well rewatch)

Truly skilled trainers try to win with their favorites... and I really appreciate how many chances the pokemon TCG has given me to do exactly that. Doing the my9cards thing.

Alone in a forest in the world of your dreams, rescued (for now) but not understanding what's going on, while everyone hunts the Awakening (you)... Kanata Kara is really cool and I'm so happy to finally see this story animated.

right now the Trailmon Frontier is imploding and Firamon somehow conquered what's left of it from the embattled Lowemon dynasty. Also, Ogudomon just overran the Forest of the Gods... ah, CK2.

birdboy2000 @birdboy2000.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

his might've been part of the idea behind my digimon mod, but only part, the main inspiration was always what the Kaiser got up to in 02... and Shoutmon from the good guy side in Xros Wars XD and if so, the answer is 'only Frontier unifies and they keep overthrowing each other'

I kind of want to just... watch the digital world go by. Like not raising a digimon personally, just putting a bunch of digimon in a server and setting some parameters, then seeing what happens.

Digimon Universe Applimonsters is a brilliant work of science fiction. 10 years later, it feels like it predicted so much about the world we wound up living in... It's different from other digimon series, but still, I strongly recommend it.

Mushoku Tensei's new season is ending today, which might've been the 2nd best anime this summer. Tensei Kizoku Kantei Skill de Nariagaru, which I really enjoy, has a new season starting as well. but my mind's still on Beatbreak.

All these illustrations really drive home how many people are involved in making an anime... it's so different from a manga or LN where there's like at most an editor and a couple assistants like you know from seeing all the names in credits but there's knowing and *knowing*

Digimon Beatbreak's ending reminds me a lot of 02's, if compressed chronologically Digimon 02's ending is one of the most optimistic I've ever seen in anime and marked a move away from the depressing final parting (unless?) type common in '90s isekai. So this is a good thing.

3-2 today at locals in #pokemontcg with a deck I'd never played before at any level. And a 3-0 start as well. This shouldn't happen. Talonflame/Kangaskhan, despite all the mulligans, is legit and fun to play and I'll work on learning/improving the deck.

"Even if powerful humans and digimon try to stop us, the power of our bond will overcome them and change the world forever" is an old message in digimon... but still a powerful one, and #DigimonBeatbreak executes it really well. 10/10 show. Revolutio Rerum!

Tai-Ari deshita. Ojousama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai might seem at first like a cute girl yuribait show, and that's not *wrong*, but it also gets across the experience of doing an e-sport and going to tournaments really well. As a TCG player I can really relate.

The sheer amount of contempt and hatred which Rudeus Greyrat receives in some corners of the internet reflects a society so obsessed with its own concept of self-righteousness that it can no longer appreciate flawed heroes, one incapable of creating art. In this essay I will--

000

birdboy2000 @birdboy2000.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

We have so many slow life isekai anime these days, and watching Mushoku Tensei, Rudeus would very much prefer to be in one of those. He gets involved in so much big deal type stuff but he just wanted a happy life with his isekai family... I feel so bad for his future version. ;_;

Fletchling. These friendly Pokemon send signals to one another with beautiful chirps and tail-feather movements. Despite the beauty of its lilting voice, it's merciless to intruders that enter its territory. It bathes only when it feels safe, maintaining its feathers for flight and warmth. #pokemon

Pokemon Lombre wears a water bowl as a hat, sitting in a lily pond. Several small red and orange birds perch around it, drinking from a dripping faucet and the pond's edge. Dark leaves hang overhead. The setting is a tiled courtyard in purple and gold light.

New: Macklemore will donate entire $1M of his earnings from Ed Sheeran's tour to six orgs helping Palestinians — and invites Robert Kraft to match him. Says he wants to center Palestinians being killed + journalists & aid workers who keep going. "Their risk is of a far different order than mine."

With everything that has happened over the last 48 hours, I want to bring the conversation back to where it belongs: to the Palestinian people who are still being killed, still living under military occupation, and still fighting for their freedom.
I will be donating the entire $1 million of my net earnings from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour to six organizations working directly to support the Palestinian people. And I invite Robert Kraft to match my donation. Whatever we disagree about, perhaps we can agree on this: Palestinian lives are worth protecting. A Palestinian life is no less valuable than any other life on this earth.
That is what this has always been about. Not me. Not a tour. Not the headlines or the controversy. It is about Palestinians right to freedom, dignity and safety in their own homeland. I want to center the parents carrying their children into hospitals without the basic resources to treat them, and the physicians, paramedics, journalists and aid workers who keep going back in. I want to center the organizers and activists who have paid real costs for standing with Palestine. Their risk is of a far different order than mine.
Just yesterday, 15 year old Muhammad al Zinati was killed in an Israeli strike while rushing to help aid worker Sherif Lubbad, who had already been injured. He was a child. Both were murdered. Both should be alive. And the ones still under the rubble, whose names exist only in the memories of people who may not have survived to speak them. Writing a check is one of the least costly forms of solidarity available to me. I am doing it because I can, and because these organizations are doing the work while much of the world debates it.
But aid alone cannot address the conditions that make it necessary. This is a manmade injustice, and I believe it requires immediate political change. Palestinians have lived for decades without basic rights and should not have to wait another day to be free. That is where my focus will remain. I will …

The difference between high IQ and low IQ humans isn't that much in the grand sweep of possible intelligence. Someone like Einstein was still subject to the biological limitations of the human body, you couldn't just throw more compute at his brain. At best it'd delay the takeover date a little.

I didn't always have the level of antipathy towards President Trump I do now. His first term wasn't *that* bad by the (low) standards of American presidents. Then he decided to help Israel kill 100,000s of people and sneak attacked Iran and blew up an elementary school.
