Is this true? No one tell Megumin. (the original is better and it didn't need a remake, but it's still Rayearth, might as well rewatch)

Truly skilled trainers try to win with their favorites... and I really appreciate how many chances the pokemon TCG has given me to do exactly that. Doing the my9cards thing.

Alone in a forest in the world of your dreams, rescued (for now) but not understanding what's going on, while everyone hunts the Awakening (you)... Kanata Kara is really cool and I'm so happy to finally see this story animated.

Tai-Ari deshita. Ojousama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai might seem at first like a cute girl yuribait show, and that's not *wrong*, but it also gets across the experience of doing an e-sport and going to tournaments really well. As a TCG player I can really relate.

There are people in the world who say anime doesn't do comedy well. These people either haven't seen Konosuba or have bad taste. Rewatching and it's still great.

The spell is incorrect. Your quest log has been erased.

Finished my annual Digimon Adventure rewatch. This anime remains the absolute pinnacle of animation, a brilliant story which blows me away every time, and the last episode always brings me to tears. I love it so much.

First tournament in months and I made top cut of the SEASAC League Challenge Season 4 #10. Certainly had my share of luck but consider the Yveltal/Froslass deck (tentatively) saved. I'll return to playing IRL once it cools down a bit. #pokemontcg #playpokemon play.limitlesstcg.com/tournament/6...

I don't like season wars, and I deeply love all of the top 9, which I have watched through multiple times (except Beatbreak 'cause that hasn't even finished) and enjoyed 10-11 but since everyone else is doing it...

000

birdboy2000 @birdboy2000.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

#DigimonBeatbreak really went 39 episodes before any BL shipteasing, huh... that might be a digimon record XD (though Souji's too psycho for Kyou) Anyway this episode was just painful and heartbreaking. Good and plot-important and all but it huuuuuurt. ;_;

I'm not sure how much I like the focus on Eris so far this season, I'll see where this arc goes. Something kind of cool about her admiration for Rudeus. That said, Mushoku Tensei's animation always wows me, the fights are so good.

I think this might be it for the Vending Machine isekai, given how this season ended (though there's still the world's god?) If so, it was a lot of fun. A really creative concept and a love for vending machines in all their diversity, and Lammis a cute. Irrashaimase!

I got tired of playing against Dragapult and failing to find a good control deck, plus it's PTCG offseason, so I've been doing this instead. Pidgeot/Talonflame/Shadow Quagsire team. Probably not that impressive but at least I reached ace... #GoBattleLeague

And the events at the episode's end... I knew a bit of what was coming but it still hit really hard. And given the spoiler, I actually expected Pyramidmon to win, instead of... this. Great character moments. "All you do is take." #DigimonBeatBreak

Finally finished Zero no Tsukaima! I'm never going to like Louise, but this story did have some very cool moments, and I can see why it had such an immense influence. I wonder how far back the idea of worlds linked by eclipses goes? Digimon Adventure puts its... after the climax.

Isekai Kuimetsu no Same is so much fun, such great parodies... and a shark eating everything. 10/10, this manga has my strong recommendation.

000

birdboy2000 @birdboy2000.bsky.social · 10/01/2026

Tensei shitara Dragon no Tamago datta's anime is a lot of fun... even if he hatches halfway through the first episode. If you liked Kumo desu, it's very similar, and this is not at all a bad thing. The start reminds me of a weaker Digitamamon. XD #doratama_anime

Boukyou Tarou is a really interesting manga... Japanese corporate employee, 500 years after an apocalypse, slavery, (re)introduction of money, and I've got to the arc where they're buying an election. Would strongly recommend.

The #DigimonTimeStranger demo is a lot of fun and has had me hyped for the real thing... even though I couldn't evolve my Wanyamon before it finished. So many clever little references and nods to the franchise's history around Central Town, and the story looks fascinating.

SRW V puts the Augusta Newtype Research Institute in Augusta, Maine... although unfortunately, Gundam canon AFAIK puts it in Georgia/South Carolina (I think we have to wait all the way through the Dark History for New England/Inglessa to show up in Gundam)

I am very impressed by #zenshu_anime. One of the more original isekai storylines we've had lately, while still paying nice tributes to a lot of older shows, and probably the most beautiful. An animator in her favorite anime, changing the ending. ;_;
