Mechangel exchanging looks in a crowd for day 2 of Yumetober ☔️ (I’m a bit late but I actually like how this turned out in the end) inspired by the Gem and Sam rain scene in Tron Legacy lol (I haven’t done this anime esque screenshot style in so long and it felt so joyful and nostalgic to do omg) 💖

An artwork of Beck from Tron Uprising and my Tron OC Lovelace

you arent a burden. you are a human being with wants and needs. having desires does not make you selfish. unless you are sonic, in which case you are not human and everything you do sickens me.

Saw someone describe Tom And Jerry: The Forbidden Compass as "Nezha but for people who've never seen Nezha" and it stuck with me for how accurate it is.

Honestly looking back I think it's funny how I thought Coyote V. Acme wouldn't turn out good and thought Tom And Jerry: The Forbidden Compass would turn out better. Turns out it was actually the reverse. I'm happy Coyote V. Acme blew my expectations but I also think TAJ:TFC should've been good too.

Genuinely how can you fuck up "Tom And Jerry but they're in mystical China" that badly. I was really hoping there'd be something different here. This gotta be like the fifth time the titular duo have been resorted to characters who add nothing to the plot in their own movie.

GOOD NEWS! A new cancer treatment has demonstrated unprecedented results in a large trial for cancer patients whose disease has become resistant to chemotherapy AND immunotherapy. Tumors shrank in OVER a third of participants, with 15 patients experiencing COMPLETE eradication of their tumors.

People would rather focus on mediocre shows with a cynical atmosphere and edgy middle school humor than to direct their attention towards something that's so well-made and deserves its flowers.

okay honestly she's kinda real for this

WHY IS SHE NOT LAUGHING?

She’s been laughing for more than 100 years. Laughter is who she is. So, what just happened?

Well, she went out into the world to see what people were laughing about, but instead, she found people arguing … over petty little things. Like Oxford commas. Reclining airplane seats.
And group chat etiquette.

She realized somewhere along the way we started taking the little things a bit too seriously. Creating wedge issues out of just about anything.

So, the question isn’t why she stopped laughing. The question is, what are we going to do about it?

THE NOT LAUGHING COW

Silly goofy Mechangel (Beck X Lovelace) doodle I spent way too much time on based on a joke I made a few months ago (yes I selfship and yumeship (selective sharing/mirror sharing, I’m very chill with doubles dw) with Beck from Tron Uprising like a goofball)

Beck: Wow! Is this body wash or shampoo? Lovelace: …Beck that’s car wash soap…

A hero's final rest. #lego #bionicle

A colourful drawing of line art and watercolour of bionicle Toa Tahu. The Red Orange one. Resting against a tree in the woods. At his feet are the 5 masks of all the other original bionicles heroes. A Spot of sunshine comes through the trees. Wide enough to form a circle in the shape of Tahu and ailluminate him in the otherwise dark forest. Toa is covvered in rust and dust. Leafs spout from his shoulders and mask. His plating looks old and battered. One may wonder how long he has been here.

Any show that has Robert Valley's art direction (outside of Love Death Robots, of course), for some odd reason. The guy has an awesome art style, it's just a pity a lot of them didn't even make it past one season. The Hollow was lucky enough to make it to two seasons.

There are few animated films I've been meaning to see or rewatch, but one I'm most upset that I haven't caught while it was in select theaters was Nobody (2025). It doesn't seem to be streaming on any platform, either! An artistic and comedic take on JTTW sounds like my kind of bread and butter.

Chinese poster for Chinese-animated film Nobody (2025). Not to be confused with another film of the same name that released that year.

The poster features an ensemble cast of critters (who are demons) meant to resemble the cast of Journey To The West (Left to right: a boar dressed as Pigsy (Zhu Bajie), a frog as Tang Sazang, a gorilla dressed as Sun Wukong, and a mustelid dressed as Sandy (Sha Wujing))

I'm happy Coyote V Acme finally got out there and got its flowers. Other than the hit-or-miss cel-shaded 3D animation, I still can't believe how good it was generally. I don't think I've seen a Looney Tunes film reach this kind of peak since Back In Action.

I can't believe no Jurassic Park/World movie has ever done a split diopter shot If you don't what a split diopter shot is, it's a practical camera technique that keeps both the foreground and the background in sharp focus at the same time while leaving the middle distance blurred. Example: Jaws
