Two weeks ago I presented our work at the 4th World Seabird Conference (#4WSC). As part of the #AMPLIAMAR project, we developed a workflow to turn seabird #GPS data into candidate marine #KBAs. The method is automated, reproducible and transferable worldwide, designed to inform #MPA planning. 🧵👇

Centuries ago, thousands of brown #boobies bred on Cima, #CaboVerde. By the 1980s, they were gone. Today, in collaboration with #ProjectoVito, we placed five decoy pairs on the islet to lure them back. Hoping to see them thrive here once more! @irbio-ub.bsky.social @biologiaub.bsky.social @ub.edu
