What the hell is up with the influx of obvious AI bots on bluesky today? I feel like I'm blocking 1 in four posts on my discovery feed now. Users with AI image photos, no post histories, and one post that's of a "person" or some infographic with a beg for funds of some kind....

Gonna do a smll project. I have this small enclosure at home. I'm going to get some Cherry MX Brown switches, a rotary endocer and a RPI Pico and build a programmable little switch box with volume control. Should be fairly straightforward and a fun learning project. Not to mention useful.

And yet... This. Fucking. ROCKS. Honestly, one of my biggest gripes with a lot of games is the lack of summary when coming back to it. Loading a save and forgetting what you were at (cause life happens) and trying to figure it all out only to say fuck it and restart. This is so good.

I mean I'm not a gamedev. But I do have over 9,984.8 hours in RimWorld... So. That being said, an open ended games works better when it allows the player to help build the narrative. The occasional goal is good to have. Adds to progression. Yet there's something to be said about the players path.

I've started playing Elin again. It's scratching that itch that Ultima Online did over 28 years ago. The deep crafting system. Skills getting better as you use them. Only this is far more moddable and I welcome that. Also the fact someone made a UO Music Pack for the game doesn't hurt either.
